Bradford v Millwall – Millwall win

There’s a good feeling around Millwall at the moment as they continue to work their way up League One. The Lions have been in terrific form in 2016 and have been scoring goals for fun. They travel to West Yorkshire to face Bradford who are without a few key players who have been called up for International Duty. Tom Thorpe has joined on loan from Rotherham for a short period, as the Bantams are without Rory McArdle through injury and with Josh Cullen, Lee Evans and Reece Burke all called up for International duty. All of this disruption could play into Millwall’s hands as they look to make it four wins from seven. Lee Gregory and Steve Morison could be a partnership that will take a lot of stopping.

 

Dover Athletic v Torquay – Draw

In the National League, two teams who are in-form meet on the South Coast. Torquay still sit in 19th in the table, but are unbeaten in eight games now and are proving difficult to beat. Dover have very decent home form and this isn’t an easy place to come. They have collected 37 points here this season and they won’t go down easily either. They are three unbeaten here and this one looks like two teams who will make themselves hard to beat. It’s just four defeats here all season for Dover – one of them against leaders Cheltenham but Torquay have got the bit between their teeth as they look to remain in this division.

 

Poland v Finland – Poland win

A handful of International friendlies on Saturday and one of them features in-form Poland who are well on their way to preparing for Euro 2016 and Group C with Germany, Northern Ireland and rivals Ukraine. Robert Lewandowski is one the star names for this Polish side, but they have a decent squad and they work well as a team. Finland looked a bit disjointed in one of their recent friendlies against Iceland and many of their players have only just started their season domestically. Poland are unbeaten in their last five matches which includes an 8-1 win over poor old Gibraltar and victories over Iceland, Ireland and the Czech Republic. They should have far too much firepower here for a Finnish side who very rarely score more than a single goal in a game.

 

Cesena v Latina – Cesena win

There’s a full fixture list in Serie B on Saturday afternoon which is a league I like to bet on. Cesena are usually reliable at home and they only lost their last match here to Salernitana because they went down to 10 men. Their opposition that day were in slightly better form than Latina. The visitors are without a win in eight games and are struggling for form. They appear to be creeping ever closer to the relegation zone, which is a worry but Cesena can inflict further damage here. Prior to that defeat, Cesena had won four straight home matches and conceded just a single goal during that time. They should have too much for struggling Latina.

 

Clyde v Arbroath – Clyde win

We’re covering all leagues this afternoon and we arrive in Scotland for our final selection. Clyde beat Annan on Tuesday night to make it four consecutive wins. They’ve improved remarkably of late and they should be able to claim another three points here back at home. Arbroath have lost four of the last five games and aren’t playing well having just won twice since the end of January. Clyde have scored 13 times in the last five matches and are scoring for fun. They could a few past Arbroath here. Away from home the visitors have conceded six goals in their last three matches.
