After witnessing their side inflict total destruction upon Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City last time out at Goodison Park, Everton fans must seemingly find themselves residing upon cloud nine right about now – and quite rightfully too!
Although Ronald Koeman’s entire starting XI certainly performed admirably well on the day, one player who nonetheless stood out among the rest would be none other than 18-year-old Liverpool-born, Tom Davies. With his well-taken goal and hard-fought performance in front of the Goodison Park faithful, the future remains bright for this latest up and coming Everton youngster.
Many have since taken to the Toffees newcomer after last weekend’s performance…
Love everything about Tom Davies. The criminally poor barnet, low socks and celebrates like a fan. pic.twitter.com/9qXc0nwIFU

Alongside Everton’s Ademola Lookman, the 2016/17 campaign could certainly prove one to remember for young Tom Davies…
Tom Davies has just lived my dream there. Score a whopper in front of the Gwladys Street, launch your self into the crowd. Magical. #EFC

He might not share the same look as your average modern day footballer…
Tom Davies has invited the Everton squad to his gaff to celebrate. His folks are away, and he's got doobies & the "Dude Where's My Car?" DVD

…but maybe that’s not such a bad thing when all is said and done…
It's good to see a local boy come good. Tom Davies has been at Everton since he was 11 and he scored a great goal in a superb performance.

Everton certainly seem to be benefiting from the young man’s inclusion as of late…
There's nothing better than one of your own running the match against world class opponents.

…and as the Toffees fans seemingly can’t get enough of their latest 18-year-old sensation right about now…
Could watch that #TomDavies goal and celebration all day. What dreams are made of that. #EFC

…perhaps this is just the beginning of Tom Davies’ potentially mercurial rise within the English top-flight!
Good to see Tom Davies prove that the kids are actually alright. We don't lack quality young players in England. Just the guts to use them.
