Football Accumulator Tips 9th December
Frankfurt v Hoffenheim – Draw
We start in the Bundesliga for what should be a cracker. Both of these sides are performing above pre-season expectation and their respective league positions suggest that. They start this match in 4th and 5th level on 25 points from their opening 13 games, you couldn’t get a more level start. Frankfurt haven’t lost at home this season with four wins from six. They make themselves extremely tough to beat. They’ve drawn with Bayern and Hertha here and beaten Koln and Dortmund and this will be very tricky for Hoffenheim. The visitors are having a tremendous season under Julian Nagelsmann and are unbeaten on the road. They have won twice and drawn four so far on their travels and like their opponents, they will take some beating. They’ve drawn at the Allianz Arena and also beaten Leverkusen convincingly away from home. These two sides are very impressive, so impressive that they may cancel each other out.
Malaga v Granada – Malaga win
You have to be careful with these matches sometimes. A mid-table side hosting the bottom club can often come back to hurt you. Granada beat Sevilla at home last weekend they will be confident coming into this game. But, Malaga’s home form is terrific and I think they will have enough to win this. The hosts are aiming to make it 6 consecutive home victories following wins over Bilbao, Eibar, Leganes and Deportivo. They almost lost on Sunday night, but a late leveller secured a point at the Mestalla and they should be able to add another three points to their total. Granada have shown signs of life and did grab their first victory of the season at the weekend, but away from home, they’ve acquired just 2 points from 7 games and netted just 7 times. They will struggle to cope with goal-happy Malaga.

Dijon v Marseille – Draw
These two could be regarded as the draw specialists of Ligue 1. From 32 games played (16 each), they’ve picked up 13 draws between them. Dijon have drawn three of the last five and last Friday came back from 3-1 down at Caen with ten men to pick up an important point. They can’t seem to buy a win at the moment, but have become solid and tough to beat. In both of their recent losses, they’ve been defeated by just a single goal. Marseille beat Metz convincingly last weekend, but under Rudi Garcia haven’t quite got going yet. They are yet to win away from and have drawn three of their five matches on their travels. They don’t have enough firepower to finish sides off. This is likely to end all square.
Troyes v Auxerre – Troyes win
Troyes lost their first game in a while last week as Brest beat them 2-1, but at home, they’re in fine voice. They’ve won 6 of the last 9 including each of the last five. They’ve conceded just 6 here in 9 matches in front of their own crowd and they should be strong again as struggling Auxerre come to town. The hosts haven’t conceded a goal here since the 23rd of September and will be confident of extending that run. Auxerre picked up an away win in the cup, but haven’t had much success on the road so far. Since a victory over Bourg-Perronas in August, they’ve netted just twice on the road and are struggling for form. Troyes should have too much for them.
