Sunderland v Chelsea – Chelsea to win
We begin this weekend’s accumulator tip in the Premier League. Chelsea have had a terrible campaign as defending champions but manager Guus Hiddink will want to end his reign on a high. The Blue's battled back from two goals down to claim a draw on Monday night to end Tottenham's chances of winning the title. Eden Hazard looks like he is getting back to his best just in time for Euro 2016. He has scored three times in his last two matches and will be looking for more against the relegation threatened Black Cats. Sunderland are looking in real danger of slipping through the trap door despite being in half decent form. However, rivals Newcastle have moved above them and this has now become a match that they need to win. Manager Sam Allardyce will have his team pushing forward at every attempt to get and win the points which could leave gaps at the other end for Chelsea's talented attacking players to take advantage of.
West Ham v Swansea – West Ham to win
West ham have had a fantastic season and still have a realistic chance of qualifying for the Champions League. Manager Slaven Bilic has his team playing some of the best football in the Premier League and they could become a real force in the next few years under his leadership. They have gone ten games unbeaten in the league and are full on confidence. Midfielder Mark Noble has scored four in his last two matches and will be hoping to add to that to help the Hammer's claim three more points. Swansea have had a season to forget and will be looking to rebuild over the summer months. They are now safe from relegation and with nohing to play for. They have only won three times away from home all season and come up against a club unbeaten on their own patch since August.
Crawley v Barnet – Barnet to win
This is a battle between two clubs who have both secured their League Two status for next season. Both of them will want to improve on their probable bottom half finish to this campaign and of the two of them Barnet could have the potential to do so. It took the Bee's a few weeks to get used to the pace of league football again after last season’s promotion from the National League but they have been sitting comfortably in mid-table for most of the season. Their main strength is their home form but they have also improved away from home in recent months having lost just once on the road in nine matches. They face a Crawley side who must be longing for the end of the season. They parted company with manager Paul Yates last week and are currently on a run of seven successive defeats and things don't look like getting much better this weekend.
Plymouth v Hartlepool – Plymouth to win
Back in December Plymouth topped the League Two table and had their eyes fully focused on automatic promotion. However just seven wins in 21 matches during 2016 has seen them slip down into the play-offs. Argyle suffered play-off heartache last season and will not want to suffer the same fate this time around. They need to finish the league season on a high and carry that confidence with them into the play-offs. Also a victory could see them finish in fifth position which would mean playing the second leg of their play-off semi-final at home. Hartlepool have struggled this season and the club will look to build for next season. The club’s fans will continue their end of season tradition by dressing up in fancy dress and this year they will be dressed as Stormtroopers. They will no doubt make it a party atmosphere and with Hartlepool having nothing to play for that could play right into Plymouth's hands.
Mansfield v Cambridge – Cambridge to win
We end this weekend’s football accumulator prediction with two teams who will be playing for nothing but pride on Saturday. Cambridge have had a very inconsistent season until a recent run of just one defeat in ten games saw them make a late charge for the play-offs that ultimately failed. Mansfield were up and around the play-offs for most of the campaign but faltered in the last couple of months to such an extent that they now find themselves in the bottom half of the table. The Stags have won just three times in twelve matches and have an inferior home record to Cambridge's away record this season. Cambridge have won their last two on the road and will be hoping to end the season in style. This should be a good match that could have a lot of goals and Cambridge just about coming out on top.
