Stoke managed to tighten up at the back in the last game with only conceding one goal, they had conceded 12 in three games prior this and Mark Hughes had to make changes to ensure it didn’t happen again although they do average around three goals per match in any fixture they play in and have actually conceded in all eight of their previous league games. Palace on the other hand, have been a little better defensively with two clean sheets from their previous seven games.
