Accumulator Tips for Saturday 30th April
Newcastle v Crystal Palace – Newcastle to win
We begin this weekend’s accumulator tip in the Premier League. The relegation battle is as exciting as ever and only one club out of Newcastle, Norwich and Sunderland will survive. Newcastle begin the weekend second from bottom and at present are in the most danger. However new manager Rafa Benitez has now got his team playing with some belief after going three matches unbeaten. The Magpie's have gained almost 75% of their points this season at St James' Park and will be hoping to add to that on Saturday. In their last two home matches they have managed a well needed 3-0 over Swansea and drawn 1-1 with Champions League chasing Manchester City. Crystal Palace are all but safe from relegation and have an FA Cup final in May to look forward to. There is no doubt that Manager Alan Pardew will put out a team to win this match but Newcastle need to win this to give themselves a fighting chance and I think they just might do that.

Stoke v Sunderland – Sunderland to win
Sunderland are another club who are fighting for their Premier League lives and are currently the favourites to survive. They have been in decent from in recent weeks and have only lost once in their last seven outings. However, five of those matches have been drawn so they have struggled to pull away from the bottom three. The Black Cats manager Sam Allardyce has been frustrated all season by his teams failure to keep a clean sheet but they have managed to do just that in three of their last four matches and continuing that could be key to their chances of staying up. They take on a Stoke side who look like they are on their summer holidays already. The Potter's were having a great campaign until a recent run that has seen them lose three in a row and concede four times on each occasion. Manager Mark Hughes will be expecting some improvement but Sunderland's need to win could well be enough to see them move them closer to safety.

Watford v Aston Villa – Watford to win
If at the start of the season you had offered any Watford fan an FA Cup semi-final and Premier League safety by the end of April they would have been more than happy to take it. However last weekend’s Wembley defeat along with a dip in league form has put a dampener on the Hornet's campaign and they need to start winning again to get that feel good factor back at Vicarage Road. They won't have a better chance of doing that on Saturday as they take on already relegated Aston Villa who have been nothing short of dreadful this term. Villa are on a run of ten defeats in a row. They have not won away from home since the opening day of the season and are in disarray both on and off the field. Watford's strike duo Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney have scored 23 Premier League goals between them and if they can find their scoring boots again this weekend they can gain another win and then go on to finish an impressive season in form.

Leeds v Charlton – Leeds to win
This is an end of season match where both clubs only have pride to play for. Charlton have had a very poor campaign where they have had several different managers and have been struggling towards the foot of the Championship all season long. The reality of their on and off the field problems finally hit home two weeks ago when they got relegated to League One. Leeds are another club who have had off the field drama this season but that seems to be the norm for the sleeping giants of Yorkshire. On the field They have improved as the season has gone on. They have rose into the top half of the table after a run of just one defeat in six. The Whites have been scoring for fun recently and face a team with a shocking away record. Leeds should win on Saturday and if they do they could have a very positive finish to the season and head into the next campaign full of optimism.
Stevenage v AFC Wimbledon – AFC Wimbledon to win
We finish this weekend’s football accumulator bet in League Two. With just two games to go this season seven teams are fighting it out for the three promotion positions to join Northampton Town in League One next season. One of those teams is AFC Wimbledon who had won five on the bounce to put themselves in the promotion mix before they were brought down to earth with defeat to Portsmouth on Tuesday. They still however only need two points from two matches to secure a play-off place and should get that this weekend against a team with nothing to play for. Stevenage have had a difficult campaign but are now safe from relegation and can look to build for next season. The Womble's have their eyes firmly set on promotion and that extra desire to win should be enough for them to take the three points. They also have an extra incentive to gain promotion as they would finally be at the same level as MK Don's and I think we all want to see that.
