West Brom vs Crystal Palace predictions and Premier League betting tips for the live TV evening kick-off on Saturday 27th February.
West Brom host Crystal Palace at the Hawthorns on Saturday evening and I have three football tips for the match including an anytime goalscorer tip and the latest team news for the match.
West Brom vs Crystal Palace Predictions
The Baggies go into this one after being knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Championship side Reading. The 3-1 defeat was poor viewing for the West Brom faithful and having only won once in the league since 2nd January they are at risk of being pulled into a relegation battle. They did win away at Everton, but that was more of a case of poor Everton finishing than a great away performance as the Toffees failed to score from any of their 34 (34!) shots. They may be eight points above 18th placed Newcastle United but with trips to Leicester City and Arsenal to come with the visit of Manchester United in between, Tony Pulis' side really need to get something here or they could be scrapping for their Premier League status come April.
Palace, after a flying start to the season, have been in freefall since the turn of the year. They haven't won a Premier League game since December and have fallen from fifth to 13th. However, unlike their next opponents, they made it to the last eight of the FA Cup with a fantastic 1-0 win away at Spurs, although they had goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey to thank for keeping them in it at times. The much missed Yannick Bolasie made his first appearance of the year in that one, and it's no coincidence that Palace's poor form came at the same time as Bolasie was on the sidelines. Now he's back, Palace will be looking to push their way back up the table. He'll probably be on the bench for this one with Jordan Mutch continuing to start; James McArthur and Jason Puncheon are still missing.
Regards to the West Brom team news, Johnny Evans, James Morrison and Callum McManaman are all out but Craig Dawson could be fit after missing the Reading defeat and Gareth McAuley might play a part too.
Palace may have had a shocking 2016 but I think they're going to win here for my main Premier League prediction this weekend. They got beat at home to Watford but there were signs there, particularly second half, that the Eagles are starting to perform how we know they can. I think the pace of Wilfried Zaha and the signing of Emmanuel Adebayor, who scored his first for the club in that defeat, along with Bolasie and Lee Chung-yong to possibly come off the bench, I think Palace will ultimately have too much pace and power for West Brom to cope with.
My first West Brom vs Crystal Palace prediction is for Crystal Palace to win the match. What are the best odds for Palace to beat West Brom this weekend? 2/1 with Betfred.

Speaking of Adebayor, many raised eyebrows when Alan Pardew signed the striker but on his day he can cause problems for anyone. One of my fellow thatsagoal writers wrote that during his first few months of every club that Adebayor has been at he's performed brilliantly and he's right. I think he'll do the business for Palace until the end of the season and I'm tipping him as my anytime scorer tip this weekend.
My second Premier League prediction for West Brom vs Crystal Palace is for Adebayor to score anytime. What are the odds for Adebayor to score this weekend? It’s 5/2 with 888Sport.

For my third betting tip, I'm going for Palace to score two or more. Once they get the first, West Brom will have to push out and discard that yawn inducing defensive football they've become known for and that will play into the away sides hands.
My last West Brom vs Crystal Palace prediction is for Palace to score two or more goals and the best odds are 21/10 at Coral.
