Shrewsbury to beat Oxford

Shrewsbury's aim of being league two champions has suffered a blow in recent weeks after recording just two wins in six matches. They did get back on track on Tuesday evening with a comfortable away win at Morecambe and will be looking to continue that form against Oxford United. Oxford have had a poor season this term and are still far from safe from relegation. Points are a must to keep them clear of the bottom two so the last thing that they would want is a trip to the club with the best home record in the league. The Shrews still need points themselves to claim one of the automatic promotion spots and they should have enough class to take all three this weekend.

 

Southend to beat Cambridge

Cambridge have had a very interesting return to the football league. They had a good start to the season and sat comfortably in mid table. They then got a well-deserved replay against Manchester United in the FA Cup and their future looks bright due to their big pay day. However if they are not careful that future will be back in the Conference. A run of just one win in ten league games since then have seen them drop down the table. Burton to win away at Tranmere
