Southampton host Arsenal at St Mary’s on Boxing Day as they look to halt a run of five league games without a win and we have three free football tips for the match.

Boss Ronald Koeman has hinted at changes to the Southampton starting 11 for this one against Arsenal. They’ve been playing poorly after a decent start to the season and star players like Graziano Pelle and Victor Wanyama have gone well off the boil. James Ward-Prowse and Shane Long might start this one. The pace and movement of Long alone will cause the Arsenal back line problems, and if the Saints are going to get anything out of this game they’ll have to attack from the off. Koeman has hinted that his team will try a more defensive approach to this game but if that’s the case I think they’ll struggle.
As for the Gunners, Alexis Sanchez and Mikel Arteta are still missing so I’m expecting pretty much the same side that beat Man City on Monday night with Giroud in front of Walcott, Campbell and Ozil.
I think this will be more of the same from Arsenal. Since their defeat away at West Brom last month they’ve won five of the last six in all competitions.
