The Canaries are 17th and equal on points with Newcastle United who take up the final relegation place. They really should have got something from the game at the King Power stadium but were defeated by a last minute Leicester City goal. They missed chance after chance, symptomatic of how their season has gone so far. The lack of a top class striker could cost them dearly in the Premier League relegation fight.

 

Chelsea came from behind to beat Southampton at the weekend to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 11 games. Since Guus Hiddinks' arrival, they've slowly turned their season around and now sit in 11th place. The win at St Mary's came at a cost though as Pedro picked up a hamstring injury and so misses this one. Kurt Zouma is still out and John Terry might not be risked. For Norwich, they're waiting on the fitness of trio Andre Wisdom, Sebastian Bassong and the influential Wes Hoolahan.

 

Norwich will be kicking themselves after that defeat at Leicester. They did what so many teams have failed to do this season and kept the likes of Vardy and Mahrez quiet. They just missed some gilt edged opportunities, they need to be more clinical in front of goal or relegation looms. I think they'll start here, but I don't think they'll do enough for the three points.
