Bournemouth are sitting 15th in the League at the moment just five points above the drop zone, Eddie Howe will want to make sure his side don’t fall in to the trap and stay in the top flight. The Cherries have hit poor form of late with no wins in the last four games which included three losses on the bounce. In the last game they managed to nick a point away at Watford and they will want to try and build some form up as the season is starting to come to an end.

 

Southampton are currently 7th and still chasing European football next season. They have been in some decent form of late, in the last five games they have only suffered one defeat at the hands of Chelsea at the weekend however they did manage to pick up three wins in that run as well. Coming away to Bournemouth in this midweek fixture Koeman will want to pick up the good run of form again and hopefully put together a run to push for European football.

 

With Bournemouth struggling to put together any sort of run in the League and Southampton being able to grab themselves some good results it is difficult to put form into context when predicting this Premier League fixture.
