This would’ve seen feasible prior to the start of the season given their opening set of fixtures, but after defeats at home to Bournemouth and Leicester, the fact Slaven Bilic’s side are even in the top half is a remarkable feat.

Incredibly, the Hammers have managed to beat both Arsenal and Liverpool away from home without even conceding a goal!

 

Those were tough tests that they overcome with consummate ease, but on Saturday West Ham face the ultimate challenge. The Hammers travel to Manchester to take on the Premier League leaders, Manchester City, who themselves have won all five games without conceding.

 

However, Manuel Pellegrini’s side did get brought back down to earth this week in the Champions League, losing at home to Serie A giants Juventus.

Wilfried Bony cost the club £28m in January 2015, while defenders Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi cost a combined total of £60.3m.
