Norwich v Huddersfield – Norwich win.
The Canaries have been improving after a disastrous run which saw them drop out of the play-off picture. Alex Neil found himself under pressure and the Carrow Road faithful were becoming disgruntled. Norwich have won back to back home matches including a tricky looking tie with Aston Villa on Tuesday night. Nelson Oliveira and Yousouff Mulumbu have made the difference since coming into the side with the latter adding some steel in the centre of the park. Their form on the road is still a concern, but in East Anglia, they are picking up results. Huddersfield have a terrible record at this stadium and haven’t won any of their last 6 visits. Norwich hit Brentford for 5 here two weeks ago, Huddersfield won’t be quite as easily swept aside, but it’s hard to see them picking up a second successive away win.
Hoffenheim v Dortmund – Hoffenheim Win or Draw (Double Chance).
A decent price is available on the home side to pick up something from this game. Dortmund start a very short price and whilst impressive at home, they’ve won just twice in seven games on the road this season. Hoffenheim are unbeaten at home this season, winning four of the last five here. They remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga as well with 6 wins and 8 draws from 14 games so far. They’ve hit 25 goals already this season and conceded just 14. The last three encounters between these sides have ended all square. Julian Nagelsmann has done a superb job guiding his side from relegation contenders to European hopefuls and his side can remain unbeaten going into the winter break. Dortmund could only draw at Koln and Ingolstadt and lost to Frankfurt.
Trapani v Frosinone – Frosinone win.
Off to the Italian second tier for this game and the second selection of our accumulator tip with high-flying Frosinone likely to take all three points. They’re unbeaten in the last five games and have won three times on the road this campaign and have conceded 1 goal in the last three matches here. Trapani are struggling and the goals are hard to come by with just 11 in 18 matches this season. They’ve won once all season and although they have home advantage, they’re unlikely to pick up a second victory here. Although they are without a win in 3, Frosinone have been decent on their travels, which has been more effective than their home form. Trapani lost their last home game narrowly to 7th place Carpi.
Willem II v Heerenveen – Draw.
An interesting game in the Eredivisie on Friday evening as Willem II host Heerenveen. Willem II’s league position is lowly, but they are improving and have toughened up of late. Four consecutive clean sheets have stopped the rot and Heerenveen might have a frustrating evening ahead. PSV may be lacking firepower this season, but they couldn’t find a way past them, picking up a goalless draw here in November. They’ve also drawn with Twente here, keeping another clean sheet in the process. Heerenveen are riding high in the table and come here off the back of two victories, but can be a little consistent on the road, losing at Sparta Rotterdam at the start of November, but picking up a terrific point at De Kuip against Feyenoord. Two of the last three meetings between these sides have ended all square.
