Football Accumulator Tips 13/02/16

Everton v West Brom – Everton to win

We start this weekend football accumulator bet in the Premier League. Everton have had a very inconsistent season by their standards and the pressure was starting to build on manager Roberto Martinez. They were so close to making it to the Capital One Cup Final but Man City were just too strong for the Toffeemen in the end. That defeat however seems to have sparked Everton in to life. They have won all three of their matches since then 3-0 and looked unstoppable away at Stoke last weekend. West Brom on the other hand are without a win in five league games. They haven't won away from home since October and they are edging closer to the relegation zone. The Baggies look short on confidence at present and Everton should have too much fire power for them especially if inform pair Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley have their shooting boots on.

Norwich v West Ham – West Ham to win

West Ham are having a great season and have a great chance of claiming a European spot this term. Manager Slaven Bilic has built a side who are strong at the back and have some of the most entertaining attacking players in the league. As long as Tuesday nights FA Cup victory hasn't taken too much out of them then the Hammers should be far too strong for struggling Norwich. The Canaries had just about kept their heads above water all season until a recent run of five straight defeats have seen Alex Neil's men fall into the drop zone. Their main problem seems to be a defence who have conceded 16 times during that losing run. Norwich did manage to get a well-earned draw in the reverse fixture back in September and will do well to match that on Saturday. However, West Ham look a more organised outfit now and I fully expect them to take the points.

Brighton v Bolton – Brighton to win

After starting the season going 21 matches unbeaten Brighton were looking like a good bet for promotion. They then had a wobble which saw them fail to record a win in eight matches and not even score a goal in six matches in the row. Manager Chris Hughton needed to change something and brought in ex Leicester winger Anthony Knockaert and his arrival has coincided with The Seagulls finding that winning feeling again. They have won their last three and are looking like promotion contenders. They face a Bolton side who have a huge battle just to stay in this division. They have had a troubled season off the field and on the field hasn't been much better. They are on their best run of form so far this term at present with two wins in three but I think that they will find it tough against an ever improving and confident Brighton.

Sheffield Wednesday v Brentford – Sheffield Wednesday to win

Along with Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday have been the surprise package of the Championship this season. They currently occupy a play-off position after a run of six matches unbeaten and are playing the type of football that any fan would want to see. Their main strength is their home form that has seen them lose just once at Hillsborough all season. They have recently signed striker Gary Hooper on a permanent deal from Norwich and the striker has repaid that faith with four goals in four matches. Brentford are having a difficult time of things at present and have only won two in eleven. New manager Dean Smith is struggling to find any winning momentum and that is mainly down to a defence that has conceded 44 times already this term. If Wednesday and Hooper turn up in form on Saturday, I expect them to add to Brentford’s misery.

Wigan v Oldham – Wigan to win

We finish this week’s accumulator tip in league One. Wigan found it very difficult to adapt to life in League One at the start of the campaign and were a long way off of the pace. After losing three of their first five they have since gone on a run that has since seen then lose just twice in 24 matches and that run has them sitting right on the edge of the automatic promotion places. Oldham on the other hand are having a terrible campaign. They have only one once in ten matches and are currently second from bottom and six points from safety. Despite their position in the league they have only lost twice away from home all season which will give them hope but I think that they will struggle to keep that impressive stat this weekend against the divisions in form side.
