Weekend Football Accumulator Tips

Southampton v Newcastle – Southampton to win

We begin this week’s accumulator tip in the Premier League. Southampton lost ground on the clubs above them last week after a 1-0 defeat away at top of the table Leicester. The Saints will be looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday and have a great chance to do that as they entertain struggling Newcastle. The Magpie's lost a relegation six pointer last time out against Norwich and need points quickly as they currently find themselves six points from safety with only seven matches to play. However, Newcastle have a dreadful away recored this season recording just two victories in sixteen and only finding the net nine times on their travels. Southampton are having a good season and are only seven points off of a Champions League place and altough that competition may prove slighty out of reach for Ronald Koeman's men, three points here could help them qualify for Europe for the second successve season.

Southampton to beat Newcastle odds – 3/5 at Ladbrokes.

Swansea v Chelsea – Chelsea to win

This is a match between two clubs who have under achieved this season. Since Swansea were promoted to the Premier League in 2011 they held their own in the top flight. They should be safe this season as well but they have sailed closer to the bottom three than in previous seasons. They have lacked for goals all year and I can't see that improving this weekend against improving champions Chelsea. The Blues have had a shocking campaign by their own high standards and have only recently managed to drag themselves into the top half of the table. The Blues have improved since Guus Hiddink took charge and are currently fifteen league games unbeaten. This week Antonio Conti was named as their new manager for next season so all the players will be playing for their Stamford Bridge future for the remainder of the season and if they want to impress the new boss then this is the kind of match that they have to win.

Chelsea to beat Swansea odds – 11/10 at Ladbrokes.

Bradford v Swindon – Bradford to win

We continue this weekend accumulator bet in League One. Bradford look like they are putting a run together at just the right time and will be confident of securing a play-off position. The Bantam's have won five of the last six matches and now find themselves in fifth and few of their rivals will fancy taking them on in the end of season shoot out. They will be confident of gaining another three points on Saturday as they take on struggling Swindon. Just a few matches ago it looked like The Robin's had an outside chance of promotion but a recent run of five games without a win has ended that dream for another season. Before last week’s draw against relegation threatened Fleetwood Swindon had lost their previous two matches 4-1 and 6-0. Bradford will be looking to take advantage of that brittle defence and take the win that should consolidate their position in the top six.

Bradford to beat Swindon odds – 4/9 at Ladbrokes.

Carlisle v Mansfield – Carlisle to win

Both of these clubs have been in the top half of the table for the majority of the season and still have aspirations of promotion. However, Mansfield's hopes are starting to fade after a recent run of just one victory in ten outings. They now find themselves eight points adrift of the top seven and need to find some form quickly. The Stag's have struggled for goals in recent weeks and have only found the net four times in eight matches. Carlisle on the other hand look to have found some form at just the right time. Just one defeat in seven league games has put The Cumbrian's just a single point behind in the play-off race and another win this weekend could see them enhance their chances in being involved in the end of season lottery. They have already won ten times on their own patch this season and will strongly fancy themselves to gain another victory on Saturday.

Carlisle to beat Mansfield odds – 6/5 at Ladbrokes.

Guiseley v Cheltenham – Cheltenham to win

We finish this weekend’s accumulator tip in the National League. After relegation from the football league last season Cheltenham are doing all they can to bounce back at the first attempt. They presently find themselves four points clear at the top of the standings with only four matches remaining. They would take a huge step to achieving their goal if they could gain another three points this weekend. The Robins have the strongest away record in the league and come up against a side who have recently been dragged into a relegation battle. After promotion last season Guiseley were holding their own at this higher level until a recent run that has seen them fail to win a match in eleven attempts. They are now only two points above the drop zone so desperately need the points but their confidence looks shot and I fully expect Cheltenham to take advantage of that and claim the points.

Cheltenham to beat Guiseley odds – 4/7 with Ladbrokes.
