Boxing Day Accumulator Tips
Man City to win away at West Brom
We start our Boxing Day accumulator with a team in great form. In recent weeks City have won eight matches on the spin. After being written off a few weeks ago, they now look like making Chelsea fight for this season’s title. Surely they will have too much for a West Brom side still reeling from letting a two goal lead slip against QPR. The Baggies have only a single victory in seven and scoring goals this term has been their main problem. City will expect and I'm sure will get the victory in this one.
Bournemouth to beat Fulham
Bournemouth have been flying under Eddie How this season and have already hit fifty league goals this campaign. In their past two games they have scored five at home and six away and with the way that they are playing they should have enough to beat improving Fulham and get another winning leg on our Boxing Day football accumulator tip. Kit Symons has got The Cottagers playing some good football and the play-offs isn't out of reach but they come up against a side full of confidence and dreaming of automatic promotion to The Premier League.
Norwich to Beat Millwall
The third leg of our acca will see Norwich continue their fine December form against struggling Millwall. The Canaries are unbeaten this month and will be looking for that to continue on Friday. They have put a poor run of form in November behind them to firmly start putting a promotion run together and if that is to be achieved then this is a game that they need to win. Ian Holloway's Lions can't find any consistency and currently sit fourth from bottom. They only have a single victory in eight matches and will find it difficult to improve that record here.
MK Dons to win away at Notts County
After putting seven past Oldham on Saturday and moving up to second in The League One table, MK Dons will be looking to consolidate that position with another victory here. The Don's haven't lost in the league since September and with eighteen goal hit man Benik Afobi banging in the goals then they can surely add another victory to their tally for our accumulator tip on Boxing Day. County are having a good season but a recent record of just one victory in seven must be a concern and it’s probably not the right time to welcome a visit from the divisions in form club.
Shrewsbury to win away at Oxford
We conclude our Boxing Day accumulator with Shrewsbury Town. After relegation last term The Shrew's are looking a good bet to bounce back to League One at the first attempt. They are in fantastic form after eight wins in ten games and will be hoping to go into the New Year top of the table. Oxford on the other hand just can't seem to put a winning run together this term and just staying away from a relegation dog fight will be their main aim for the rest of the season. There is no doubt that The U's will put up a good fight but they will probably just fall short against arguably the best side in the section.
