Brighton have been very impressive at the AMEX recently, beating Leeds 4-0 on Monday night. They are undefeated in four in front of their own fans averaging three goals per match. Sheffield Wednesday are the visitors who have been on a poor run of late. The Owls remain a good bet for the play-offs, but they’ve struggled away from home this season and suffered at the hands of Rotherham at Hillsborough at the weekend. Fulham v Burnley – Burnley win
Fulham are in danger of relegation. It’s a very real possibility. For the record, I don’t think they will go down, but with Rotherham, MK Dons and Charlton all picking up maximum points at the weekend, they are left looking over their shoulders. They have one of the best strike partnerships in the division, but they can’t keep them out at the other end. They lost 0-2 to Middlesbrough last weekend and with an impressive Burnley side coming to West London, it’s difficult to see them easing their relegation worries here. Burnley are unbeaten in 12 now and that run includes some difficult ties. They are unbeaten in their last five away games and are looking extremely solid. They came through a tricky looking derby match with Blackburn at the weekend and I think they pick up another three points here and cement their position at the top of the table and give us another winning leg on this accumulator tip.

Cardiff City v Leeds – Cardiff win
Cardiff are in tremendous form at the moment and have lost just once in the last 8. Russell Slade isn’t well liked in South Wales, but he could nick a play-off place for the Bluebirds if they continue at this rate. They have the 6th best home form in the league and are unbeaten in 13 at the Cardiff City Stadium. There’s trouble at Leeds, but they did win at Elland Road at the weekend against bottom club Bolton. That was their first win in over a month and I don’t think they will have enough to see off an in-form Cardiff side. Lex Immers has made a real difference since arriving, but they are scoring goals from all over the field. They’ve lost just once here and even put four past high flying Brighton recently. Leeds have lost three of the last four away from home and their only point in the last four was picked up against out-of-form Brentford.

Scunthorpe v Doncaster – Scunthorpe win
Nick Daws got given the Scunthorpe job on a permanent basis after a series of improved results during his caretaker spell. It’s no win in four now though for the new boss, but they’ve had some difficult fixtures and have managed to draw three of them. One thing that is noticeable is that they’ve tightened up, keeping clean sheets against Walsall and Gillingham. Today’s opponents Doncaster are in freefall and I can’t see them getting victory in this derby match. It’s no win in nine overall for Darren Ferguson’s side and no win in their last three away from home. The former Peterborough man got off to a good start, but he needs to arrest the slide. Whilst they may have drawn a few, Scunthorpe are unbeaten in six home games and I think they can collect three points here and push their near neighbours deeper into trouble.

Newport v Barnet – Newport win
We complete tonight’s football accumulator with Newport who have really improved their home form under Warren Feeney and they’ve won their last three matches at Rodney Parade by a single goal. (all 1-0) They face a Barnet side, who still struggle on their travels and came undone against a rejuvenated Hartlepool side on Saturday.
