Ajax vs Standard Liege Prediction
As alluded to on our BTTS article, Ajax have started scoring for fun. They’ve hit 10 within the last 7 days at the Amsterdam Arena and after a shaky start, it seems they are finally firing. They were playing sides further down the Eredivisie, so the quality will be higher when Standard Liege visit. The Belgian side are very strong at home, but have won just once in six away matches this season. Their defence may find the Ajax attack too strong in this one. The Dutch side got off to the perfect start with an away win in Greece against Panathinaikos, which is a difficult place to pick up any kind of result. It’s now one goal conceded in three home games for Ajax and Peter Bosz can be happy with their recent progress. They’ll be hoping to make six points from a possible six here.

Fenerbache vs Feyenoord Prediction
Another Dutch victory on MD2 seems likely for the next leg of our accumulator tip here. Feyenoord have been excellent this season, near perfect in fact and their recent away victory in Eindhoven laid down a marker to the rest of the division. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s side mean business and they should be able to take all three points back from Turkey. They beat Manchester United in the first group game and should be able to maintain their 100% record here. Away from home, they’ve kept three consecutive clean sheets (including the 1-0 victory over PSV) and are looking increasingly difficult to breach. They’ve only concede three times all season and an inconsistent Fenerbahce side could find it hard to break them down. In three home games this season, the Turkish side have won, drawn and lost. The defeat came against Buraspor and they will need to improve that record in front of their own fans, but think Feyenoord could come back with all of the points.

Sparta Prague vs Inter Milan Prediction
Inter somehow managed to lost their first group games against Hapoel Beer Sheva and Frank De Boer’s rein at the club wasn’t looking very profitable. Since then, the results have improved and they beat champions Juventus 2-1 before winning at Empoli. A 1-1 draw with Bologna could perhaps be viewed as disappointing, but Bologna have made an excellent start to Serie A this season and will trip many of the top teams up this year. Significant improvement has been made and I think it’ll be enough to see off a very inconsistent Sparta Prague. The Czech side couldn’t score against Southampton and it makes it four games without a win. One goal in three games is a worry and they might not be able to break through the Inter backline.

Steaua Bucharest to beat Villarreal
Villarreal have been excellent this season in La Liga. They are unbeaten in the league this season and recently held Real Mardid to a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu, which was an excellent result. They were knocked out of the Champions League Qualifying by Monaco, but since then haven’t looked back. They beat Zurich 2-1 in the first Europa League game and they will look to kick on against Steaua. They’ve hit 10 goals in their last five matches and should be a force to be reckoned with here. Steaua have had mixed form recently and were recently defeated here by Cluj. They will be desperate for a victory after losing to Osmanlispor and failed to find the net in that game. They’ve won just one of their last five games and could find an in-form and confident Villarreal too much to handle.
