As mentioned, Adam Armstrong is ineligible to play against his parent club here. He’s joined on the sidelines by Josh Scowen, who was dismissed for a heavy challenge on Scott Parker at the weekend. Influential captain Connor Hourihane is still suffered with an ankle injury which saw him miss the defeat to Fulham. It leaves Barnsley a little short in the centre of the park.
