Whilst it remains far too early to judge the 23-year-old French international in his second spell down at the indomitable cauldron that is Old Trafford, Paul Pogba simply hasn’t reached those dizzying heights everybody was expecting of the former Juventus midfielder when he first made his big money switch to the Premier League this summer.
Looking back, £89 million was something of a ridiculous price to pay for a player who has so far achieved as little as Pogba among the elite European game – and although it does admittedly become a little tiring to see the midfielder heavily criticised every time he fails to put in a world class performance for the Red Devils – certain question-marks are nonetheless beginning to surround Manchester United’s latest big name acquisition.
Whilst the quick-footed Old Trafford favourite is simply bound to hit a run of strong form sooner rather than later…
Pogba will come good. Of course he will. That talent is there. But the price tag & pressure will only keep building at the moment! #MUFC

…the early indications surrounding his proposed ability to set the English top-flight alight, arguably remain far from conclusive right in the here and now…
Officially worried about Pogba. He needs to be benched. Not worth the money. I always thought he was. Not so sure now.

Although former Manchester United flop, Angel Di Maria, supposedly failed to cut it with the Red Devils just a short matter of seasons ago…
Pogba might just be a bigger flop than Di Maria,I knew he was overrated before but he's actually worse than I thought offers nothing #mufc

…the vultures are already beginning to surround Paul Pogba and his lack of goal-mouth activity so far this campaign…
Pogba is bang average, so overrated it's embarrassing

Perhaps Jose Mourinho simply failed to get the most out of his big money acquisition last time out against Jurgen Klopp’s determined Reds…
On Pogba – Poor last night but I think Jose is still struggling to figure out where best to use him. He'll come good eventually

…and whilst big things were nonetheless expected of Pogba and his long awaited return to Manchester United…
Still waiting for this explosion of form from Pogba… hope it comes soon… ?#mufc

…Juventus look to have come out the most successful in this particular deal when all is said and done…
Juventus must be laughing! Basically got 100mil for a dabbing Youssouf mulumbu ?

So although there is perhaps more to Paul Pogba and his future role among the often testing Premier League game…
Pogba is just a marketing scheme to sell kids shirts who like relevant things like dabbing. He's a great player, just over rated. #Pogba

…right now, that £89 million looks to have been completely wasted by the often careless money-men working tirelessly behind the scenes at Old Trafford.
That pogba fee is getting more embarrassing by the week ffs
