Arsenal vs Swansea Betting Tips and Predictions

Arsenal vs Swansea predictions and betting tips for this week’s Premier League fixture including the best odds for our bets.

Arsenal welcome Swansea City to the Emirates Stadium as they look to restart their title push and I have three Premier League predictions for this one.

Arsenal vs Swansea Predictions

The Gunners have gone off the boil over the last few weeks. As well as their Champions League defeat to Barcelona and their draw at home to Championship side Hull City in the FA Cup, they've only won twice in their last seven league games. Not Premier League winning form at all and if Leicester and Tottenham can continue their fine form (and if Manchester City find some in the league, who people are writing off but they're a side who've come back to win the league twice after being well behind the leaders) then Arsenal could be out of the title race soon. With the huge North London coming up at the weekend Arsenal really need to get something here.

Swansea's problems this season have been well documented. At the start of the season I tipped them to do well but things haven't gone their way and they're facing a relegation battle. After this one, they have three games against sides around them, if Swansea can pick up a couple of wins from them I think they'll be safe. They have a chance of getting something from this one too. They have a decent record against Arsenal, they've only lost one of the last four meetings between the two and are unbeaten in their last two trips to the Emirates.  After a good performance against Spurs, coupled with Arsenal's poor performance away at Manchester United, I think they will cause the Gunners problems but for me I think Arsenal will do enough to win. Simply put, they have to. My first Arsenal vs Swansea prediction is for a half-time draw and Arsenal to be winning at full-time.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has added to Arsenal’s injury woes and is out for two months and joins Thomas Rosicky, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere on the sidelines. Per Mertesacker could start after being on the bench for the United defeat and Danny Welbeck should continue up front. He's scored three in four against the Swans and has hit the net twice since his return from injury. For Swansea, they don't have any injury concerns, Leroy Fer could start and I think new signing Alberto Paloschi will continue up top after scoring against Spurs. He looks good, he'll cause the Arsenal backline problems and at 4/1 he's my anytime goalscorer tip for Arsenal v Swansea this week.

The best odds for Paloschi to score anytime against Arsenal are 4/1 with bet365. Bet365 are an essential bookmaker for you to have so get one below and bet with the world biggest online bookmaker.

For my last Arsenal vs Swansea betting tip this week, I’m looking to the goals markets. This fixture has a history of providing goals, in the last eight league meetings between two there's been 23 goals and I think there'll be a few in this one too. Get on both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.

The best odds for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is 13/8 with William Hill.
