Arsenal's extremely slim chances of winning the Premier League ended last weekend after their goalless draw away at Sunderland and Leicester City's win at home to Swansea City. In truth, the Gunners have work to do if they're to cement a place in next season's Champions League and they're up against another side fighting relegation in Norwich City. Arsene Wenger's men are unbeaten in seven and currently take up the final Champions League qualification spot, but it's been another disappointing campaign for them in a season that's seen even their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur put up a better title fight than them. Arsenal fans are planning to protest against the way the club is run in this game and how Arsenal react to their supporters will be key in how this game goes.
Wenger is still without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and there are huge doubts over the fitness of Tomas Rosicky and Kieran Gibbs. The England trio of Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott may all start after settling for places on the bench at the Stadium of Light.
Norwich are right back in trouble after losing the last two games, both to relegation rivals. The 3-0 home defeat to Sunderland was a shocking result for the Canaries, which followed a 1-0 defeat away at Crystal Palace. Alex Neil really needs something from this game, with Manchester United next and tricky games against Watford and Everton completing their fixtures for this term.
The Norwich boss will have to do without Timm Klose for this one, which is a huge blow, but he may be able to welcome back Andre Wisdom and Russell Martin.
Right, going to hit you with it straight away, I think Norwich will get something here. Arsenal on paper should wipe the floor with them but I just don't think that will happen, Arsenal being the perennial chokers that they are don't handle pressure very well and Norwich desperately need at least a point from this game, particularly if Sunderland can pick up points at Stoke and Newcastle can overcome Crystal Palace at home. This stage of the season always throws up some shock results and I think there's a chance of that happening at the Emirates. I know that Norwich haven't set the world alight with their goalscoring form but they'll need to here to stand a chance of getting a decent result.
