Both Teams to Score Tips 26/11/16
Brighton v Fulham
This is an intriguing battle at the AMEX. A second successive game at home for Brighton who were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa last weekend. Brighton’s defence has been pretty steady, but Fulham’s attack has been impressive. They weren’t up to their usual standard as they picked up a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, but Slavisa Jokanovic has plenty of firepower in his side. The Cottagers have scored in 3 of their last 4 away games and have netted 11 times in 8 games on the road. Brighton have netted 18 times in 9 home matches and I’ve no doubt they will get on the scoresheet here. Fulham should be able to find a way through. They have one of the highest shot counts in the division and are averaging around 14 shots per game. Only Bristol City and Newcastle take more.
Walsall v Southend
Neither of these sides have shown adeptness for defending recently. The Saddlers lost to Gillingham last weekend despite hauling themselves back on level terms through Jason McCarthy. They were then thumped by Rochdale in midweek and their backline is showing real cracks. In the league, they’ve kept just a single clean sheet in 10 games and they host in-form Southend. The Shrimpers haven’t lost a game in November in 7 years and have had an upturn in form in recent weeks. Despite completely dominating the match in midweek, they could only draw 1-1 with Swindon and will be looking to bounce back. BTTS would have landed in 3 of the last 4 Southend games. Walsall usually do find the back of the net and with the likes of Ehrun Oztumer in the side, they are capable of creating chances. They have the third highest average shot count in the league with 12 per game and should find a way past Southend at the Bescott. Southend have kept just two clean sheets on their travels all season, one of those coming all the way back on the 16th of August.

Colchester v Crewe
Colchester’s leaky defence finally held firm on Tuesday night as they recorded a clean sheet and an impressive 3-0 victory over Cheltenham. That’s just their second clean sheet since the end of August and a much needed fillip. John McGreal’s side have been underperforming and drifting towards the danger zone. They might find it difficult to keep another shutout against a Crewe side who created plenty of chances against Morecambe in midweek. BTTS has landed in 4 of the last 5 away games for Crewe and they will take plenty of confidence from that performance on Tuesday. These two have played out some cracking matches in the past with the sides sharing 17 goals in their last 5 meetings. Both of their encounters in 2015 ended with 3-2 victories for Crewe.
Charlton v Sheffield United
The Blades are on a fine run of form, but did concede very early in their last away match against Chesterfield. Sheffield United do keep clean sheet, but have probably been helped by the opposition’s failure to keep all 11 men on the field. Shrewsbury went down to 9 and still managed to find a way past the backline. The South Yorkshire side have the poorest defence in the top four and the second most potent attack with 33 goals so far this season. Charlton will be buoyed by the arrival of new manager Karl Robinson. He will look to sort out the mess at the Valley, but the Addicks put five past Bristol Rovers in midweek and created numerous chances. They will have their hands full today as Sheffield United have one of the highest shot counts in the division. Charlton have the likes of Nicky Ajose, Josh Magennis and Ademola Lookman who will all be attempting to impress the manager.
