We start in Serie A as Lazio take on Genoa. Lazio have been in terrific form recently and sit 4th in the table with 22 points. It’s a long time since they’ve been beaten with their last defeat coming away at AC Milan on the 20th of September. They may have drawn a few too many matches recently, but they were decisive in their last two matches beating Cagliari and Sassuolo. A point against Napoli last time out is not to be sniffed at and Simone Inzaghi’s side are full of confidence. Genoa lost 2-0 here last season and may be in for another fruitless trip. They haven’t been able to replicate their home form on the road and since beating AC Milan, they’ve picked up just a single point from their subsequent two games. Away from home, it’s three losses in four and they failed to net in two of those. They also lost 6 of their last 8 away games at the back end of the 2015/16 season. They’d prefer to be at home and this will be tough for the visitors. The in-form Ciro Immobile could punish them here.
Atalanta v Roma Betting Tip – Draw
Two sides playing well in Serie A meet on Sunday afternoon. Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini has turned his side around in spectacular fashion and they have some brilliant young players. Many of them are being watched by top clubs in the division and around Europe. They’ve won 7 of their 12 games this season including their last 4 and will be confident taking on Roma here. Sporting Gijon v Real Sociedad Betting Tip – Sociedad win
Real Sociedad are in fine form and probably would not have welcoming the International Break. They currently sit 6th and could be in and around the European spots all season. Athletic Bilbao v Villarreal Betting Tip – Draw
These two sides battle it out on Sunday evening and a point each seems like a logical outcome for our La Liga betting tip in the accumulator. They’re unbeaten here with three wins and three draws. They have beaten Lorient and Metz here and those teams have similar away form to Caen. The visitors may have beaten Nice at home before the International Break, but Le Rouge et Noirs had just competed in the Europa League and may have been fatigued. Away from home, Caen have picked up just 1 point from 6 games and scored a measly three goals.
