A total of ten goals was amassed from the two league meetings last year, with both of these games resulting in both teams finding the net. However, these figures actually rise to 83% for FC Twente when they are playing at home and to 80% when Utrecht are on their travels. If these statistics weren’t encouraging enough, though, the two sides have already met in the Gatorade cup this season and even that match ended in a 1-3 victory to the visitors. I would throw the kitchen sink at this one ending with both teams making it onto the scoresheet.
Crotone v Torino
The penultimate selection on this Sunday’s BTTS tip takes us to Serie A once again as Crotone welcome Torino to town at 14:00pm. The hosts head into this match currently rooted to the bottom of the Italian top flight and look dead-certs to drop straight back down a division at the end of the season. However, Crotone haven’t quite been as bad as their league position might suggest this year and have actually managed to score in nine of their twelve matches so far this campaign, with no fewer than five of their defeats this season coming by that of a single goal margin. Opponents Torino are the go-to team in Italy for a BTTS result at the moment and have now seen their last seven straight matches finish with both teams finding the net. Their overall record for BTTS matches now stands at 83% this year and they are also the second-highest ranked team in the division for total match goals at just under four per game. This fixture looks another fine contender for BTTS, so stick it down as the next on the coupon.
Valencia v Grenada
The final choice this Sunday takes us to La Liga as Valencia host Grenada at 15:45pm. Los Che certainly aren’t the force of old these days and have been really struggling for some time now. They are currently a point outside the relegation zone in La Liga and have also only managed to win a solitary game at the Mestalla this season. Nevertheless, from our bet’s perspective, they are absolute dynamite for a BTTS results this year with 82% of their matches so far this campaign finishing with both teams making it onto the scoresheet. Opponents Grenada are having an absolute stinker this season as well and have yet to even win a match in their twelve games to date. However, they too have an excellent BTTS record at 73% and have scored in all but one of their away matches this campaign.
