Dale Stephens returns for this game after serving a one match suspension. The Seagulls are always more balanced with the midfielder in the side. Beram Kayal has served his ban, but has picked up an injury.
Liam Rosenior, Kazenga Lua Lua and Solly March are all long term absentees, although the latter is nearing full fitness.
Jermaine Beckford is back in training and nearing full fitness, but this match will come too soon for the striker. Callum Wood is out for the remainder of the season.
Greg Cunningham is banned after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season. It leaves Preston a little short at the back. Aidan McGeady is likely to miss this game through injury as well.
