West Ham vs Manchester United Betting Tips and Predictions

West Ham United v Manchester United predictions and betting tips for their midweek Premier league clash taking place on Tuesday 10th May, kick-off time 7:45pm.

West Ham bid farewell to the Boleyn Ground on Tuesday night as they host Manchester United in their final home game before next season’s move to the Olympic Stadium and our football tipster has picked out the three best betting tips.

West Ham v Manchester United Predictions

What an historic occasion Tuesday night will be for West Ham fans. They say goodbye to the Boleyn after 112 years and whilst the club are putting on a show off the pitch, the Hammers will be looking to perform on the pitch and say goodbye to their famous ground in style. Their ten league game unbeaten run came to a crashing end last weekend at home to Swansea which saw them drop to 7th place in the Premier League table, but a win here would see them leapfrog Southampton and be just a point behind United in 5th going into the final day of the season.

Goalkeeper Adrian will miss this one with a calf injury that kept him out of the Swansea defeat so Darren Randolph will continue to deputise. Other than Adrian, Slave Bilic has a fully fit squad to choose from so he may ring the changes after the poor performance at the weekend.

After rivals Manchester City could only draw at home with Arsenal, United now have their Champions League fate in their own hands. If they spoil the party and win here, they’ll overtake City and sit in that last Champions League qualifying spot with one game remaining. A huge incentive for Louis Van Gaal and his men, and would be a great finish to what had started as an average season. United are in decent form too, they’ve lost just one of their last six league matches and have an FA Cup final to look forward to.

Anthony Martial was withdrawn from the squad before they kicked off in their 1-0 win over Norwich last weekend and is doubtful to play a part here. Matteo Darmian picked up an injury during that game and he joins Luke Shaw and Bastian Schweinsteiger on the sidelines. Marouane Fellaini will miss the last two league games following his suspension.

West Ham vs Man United Betting Tips

These two have already met three times this season. The league game at Old Trafford ended goalless, but Manchester United got the better of the Hammers, just, when they faced each other in the FA Cup quarter finals. United won the replay at the Boleyn 2-1, so will go into this with confidence. However, they haven’t won back to back away games in over a year, and this is going to be a tough game. My heart is saying West Ham will leave the Boleyn with a fantastic win but United have already spoilt the party somewhat knocking the Hammers out of the Cup in what many thought would be West Ham’s turn to lift the trophy. I think the points will be shared here, my first West Ham v Manchester United prediction is for this to end in a draw.

DRAW – 5/2 with Betfair.

No one has scored more goals for United against the Hammers than Wayne Rooney. Rooney has scored 12 goals in 17 games against them, and with Martial probably missing from the Man United starting line-up, the onus will fall on him to provide the creative spark for the away side. My second West Ham v Manchester United betting tip is for Rooney to score anytime; the best odds are with Paddy Power.

ROONEY TO SCORE ANYTIME – 23/10 with Paddy Power.

Whatever happens in this game I don’t think it will be boring. West Ham’s last six league games has provided 30 goals and they’ll be goals in this one too. My third Premier League prediction for West Ham vs Manchester United this week is for there to be over 3.5 goals here, get on it with Bet Victor.

OVER 3.5 GOALS – 13/5 with Bet Victor.
