Over 2.5 Goals Accumulator Tips
Leicester v Norwich Over 2.5 Goals
Leicester are looking to bounce back from their defeat against Arsenal and they couldn’t have wished for an easier game as they host the Canaries. The Foxes have scored five goals in their last two home games, a couple against Liverpool and three against Stoke. With Mahrez and Vardy in devastating form, they are back to their best in the striking department and should fire a few goals past a beleaguered Norwich side. Alex Neil’s men have a poor away record which includes a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa that brought their total to 11 goals conceded in four away matches. They’ve conceded 50 Premier League goals this season and have no away clean sheet in 13. Leicester should be able to fill their boots, but Norwich could also grab a goal if on song. They scored twice against West Ham last time out, so they could play their part in a high scoring match at the KP.

Fulham v Middlesbrough Over 2.5 Goals
Middlesbrough bounced back from their slump by beating Cardiff 3-1 in midweek. They have goals in them and it’s been such a surprise that until recently they struggled to score. Jordan Rhodes, David Nugent and Christian Stuani should be ripping the league apart. They should find the Fulham defence fairly accommodating this afternoon. The Cottagers have the 4th worst backline in the country and struggle to keep teams out. They recently shipped three to Blackburn and I think Middlesbrough could grab at least a couple here on their travels. But, Fulham are one of the highest scorers in the league and have a deadly front two. Without the combination of Daniel Ayala and Ben Gibson, Boro have struggled to keep clean sheets and I think Fulham will get on the scoresheet here which should make for a great game.
Colchester v Shrewsbury Over 2.5 Goals
It’s a whopping 78 goals conceded now for Colchester now and it’s going to be hard to stay in the division from this position. The odd thing is, they actually don’t look too bad going forward and have scored in each of their last three games and last four home matches. They just struggle to keep sides out and this could be the case with Shrewsbury. The Shrews will be licking their wounds after Monday’s defeat to Manchester United in the cup, but they’ve actually been pretty decent on the road recently in League One. Factor the 7-1 defeat to Chesterfield out of the equation and Mickey Mellon’s men have had a decent little run, beating Blackpool, Burton and Crewe. All of those games have gone over the three goal mark and they’re still having problems defending. Both these clubs have goals in them, but neither is assured at the back and I think there will be goals in Essex.
Burton Albion v Walsall Over 2.5 Goals
After hosting and losing out late on to Wigan, Walsall face another very difficult game away at Burton Albion. At least they don’t have to travel far for this one, but they have superb away record this season. They’ve lost just once on the road all season and both teams have scored in each of their last four away matches. They aren’t as defensively sound as earlier in the season and with Burton scoring in each of their last 14 matches, they are liable to ship a goal here. Burton lost 3-1 to Southend on Monday night and will be looking to bounce back. Three of the Brewer’s last four matches have finished with three or more goals and I think this one could go the same way. It’s no clean sheet in eight for Walsall, who are just slipping into inconsistency at the wrong time of the season. Both these teams are no afraid of high scoring matches, with Walsall drawing 4-4 at Colchester and Burton drawing 3-3 with Doncaster at the Pirelli.
Accrington v Barnet Over 2.5 Goals
Our final selection is from League Two and high flying Accrington can continue their fine form at the Wham Stadium. Accy have scored nine goals in their last four matches here and were involved in a pulsating 3-2 victory over Notts County here in midweek. Both teams have scored in their last four games in League Two and for all their goalscoring prowess, they are far from secure at the back. They recently hit Crawley for four and the Sussex side are slightly better travellers than Martin Allen’s Barnet. The visitors are very effective at the Hive, but they struggle to contain teams on the road and they will be no let up from Accrington. Barnet lost 2-1 at Cambridge and were soundly beaten by Northampton on the road. They might grab a goal here, having scored 16 away from home, but Accrington should have their shooting boots on once again.
