Chelsea v West Brom Predictions
Chelsea haven't lost since Hiddink's arrival. They breezed past Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup on Sunday and in their last league game they got a fantastic 3-0 victory away at in-form Crystal Palace. Slowly but surely, Chelsea seem to be getting back into form and a win here will see them go above West Brom in the Premier League table.
West Brom have got a couple of decent results of late too. They've won the last two in the league, home games against Newcastle and Stoke. They had to rely on an injury time winner in that victory over The Potters and again in the FA Cup against Bristol City only a last gasp equaliser saw them in the hat for the next round. They've not won away since the victory at Norwich in October and I don't see them winning here either for my Premier League predictions.
Saido Berahino may start this one but as talk about his future rumbles on he may have to again settle for a place on the bench. He scored in that 2-2 cup draw and for me if the Baggies are to get anything from this game he has to start. There are doubts over the fitness of fellow striker Victor Anichebe though he could play a part along with defender Jonas Olsson who is fit again.
Chelsea are definitely without Radamel Falcao, but the good news for Hiddink is Diego Costa should be fine to start this one after limping off at the weekend. Loic Remy could also be fit along with Oscar but Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic are likely to miss out.
With the likelihood of Costa starting, he's the subject of my first bet tip. Since the change of manager he's started to find some form and has scored three goals in his last two games.
