Tottenham v Leicester City betting preview and predictions for tonight including a match result tip and over 3.5 goals bet.
Spurs and Leicester drew 2-2 on Sunday in the FA Cup at the weekend, but they are due to meet again in the Premier League tonight in a hugely anticipated top of the table clash. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have the home advantage again, but were only able to snatch a draw via a late Harry Kane penalty on Sunday. Can they go one better and snatch all three points when they meet Leicester?
Tottenham v Leicester Predictions
Even without their star striker Jamie Vardy, Leicester City were able to dominate Spurs for periods of their FA Cup third round clash. The 2-2 scoreline was probably slightly harsh on Ranieri’s side who rallied after an early spell of Tottenham dominance, to limit Spurs to only a handful of clear cut chances.
However, Harry Kane started the match from the bench, and he was only introduced in the 68th minute as Spurs searched for their equaliser. Along with Kane, Hugo Lloris, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli were also among the star names left out of Spurs’ starting line-up, and tonight’s fixture should see the return of a full-strength Tottenham line up.
Ranieri also decided to rest a number of key players for the FA Cup tie, and tonight’s Premier League clash should see both sides back to full strength. Leicester City’s form may well have dropped slightly of late in the League, but their performances have still been excellent, even without Jamie Vardy leading the line.
Both previous meetings between the two clubs have ended as draws, and despite Tottenham’s home advantage on Wednesday, as well as a full-strength line-up, I can’t look beyond the draw as the most likely result for this clash.
My first Spurs v Leicester City prediction is for the match to end as a draw. Odds of 14/5 can be found with Bet365.

Leicester have managed a massive 21 away goals in the Premier League this campaign, and coupled with Spurs’ hugely impressive attacking performances, this game is not going to be lacking in goalmouth action.

Harry Kane will be thrown back into the starting line-up, and given his excellent run of goalscoring form, I’m picking him to open the scoring for my first goalscorer betting tip tonight.
