Watford vs Everton Betting Tips and Predictions

Watford v Everton betting tips and predictions for this weekend’s Premier League fixture on Saturday 9th April kicking fof at 3pm.

Everton travel down south to Vicarage Road on Saturday for their afternoon kick off against Watford in a game that some people would say is looking pretty meaningless now with only seven games left this season for most sides. Both teams looking at a mid-table finish and will already thinking about the FA Cup semi-finals and next season.

Premier League Predictions: Watford v Everton

Watford have had a remarkable season when you think back to them being favourites to go straight back down in August. They have been a consistent mid-table side which will definitely please the Hornet fans but maybe they could of been a bit more ambitious this year considering the great start they had. One point from their last five games is definitely disappointing.

Everton on the other-hand will be disappointed with their campaign and will have expected a much higher finish than the mid-table one that they are looking at. Another poor team of late with just three points from their last five games. However, with the possibility of winning the FA Cup they cannot be overly disheartened.

If Everton are to take positives away from this season, it’s their away form. They’ve only been beaten on the road twice this season domestically and tend to keep it tight at the back which has seen them come away with many draws as well as wins. Taking this into account with Watford’s home form, especially of late, Everton should be able to pick Watford apart.

My first Watford vs Everton prediction is going to be an Everton win. Despite picking up their second away defeat of the season on Sunday at Man United, they were far from beaten and it was only an error that cost them. I can’t see them losing back to back away games. The best odds for Everton to beat Watford are currently 13/10 with Paddy Power.

Gerard Deulofeu looked sharp for the Toffee’s before surprisingly being subbed off against United on Sunday. He looked a certain goal threat and will definitely want to impress to secure a starting place at Wembley and possibly even a late call to the Spain squad. You never know if any Spanish wingers will get injured!

The Spanish u21 has been banging them in for his country in his age group and is definitely due a goal for his club. I can’t see this one having to many goals so I’m going to take a risk. My second Premier League prediction for Watford vs Everton is going to be Deulofeu to score first at a huge price of 14/1 with Bet Victor. However, the safer option of him to score anytime is still a massive price of 11/2 with Coral.

Flores sets up Watford in a defensive way and Everton also show a good defensive record away from home. I can definitely see this being a low scoring game for my weekend football tips if both teams look interested and a draw at half time, probably 0-0 wouldn’t surprise many.

My third and final Watford v Everton prediction is going to be half time result – draw. A stalemate at the break is definitely on the cards for one of the teams to go on and pinch the three points, hopefully Everton to land another prediction! The best odds are currently 11/10 with Bet365.
