Tottenham Hotspur host Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday as they look to continue their impressive run and I have three football tips for this one.
Tottenham v Watford Predictions
Spurs are flying high at the minute and depending on results elsewhere they could go second in the table if they win this one. Many have written off their title credentials, myself included, but they've kept on getting results and it's become harder to write off their chances of lifting the Premier League trophy come the end of the season. They're on a great run, their comprehensive victory over Norwich City midweek was their fifth consecutive win in all competitions and with a much tougher game (on paper) coming next week when they travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City they'll be looking to take all three points here to keep the pressure on their title rivals.
That's not to say this will be easy for Spurs. Watford aren't playing with the confidence they did in the first half of the season but after losing four in a row they've beat Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, Newcastle United in the league and got a hard fought point at home to Chelsea on Wednesday night. With a strike pair of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney it's difficult to rule them out getting on the scoresheet, despite Tottenham’s' excellent defensive record.
Jan Vertonghen and Clinton N'Jie are still missing for the home side but midfielder Ryan Mason might be fit in time to play a part in this one. For Watford, defender Miguel Britos could return but Joel Ekstrand is still missing.
Despite Watford's upturn in form I think they'll find it tough here. They put in a courageous defensive display against Chelsea but Tottenham are scoring for fun. Spurs have scored 10 goals in their last three league games and they could get a few here too.
My first Premier League prediction is for Spurs to win and over 2.5 goals in the game. Get on it with Paddy Power at 11/8.

After a slow start to the season, a few were dismissing Harry Kane as a one season wonder but he's shut the few up and is second in the goalscoring charts after scoring 15 so far this season. He's scored 31 goals since January last year and has been integral to his side's recent run scoring four in the last three league games.
