Norwich were another team predicted to be towards the top of the tree, but an inconsistent couple of months has seen them drop out of the play-offs. They weren’t able to follow up a resounding 5-0 victory over Brentford, going down 2-1 at Oakwell. Alex Neil blamed himself afterwards, claiming his tactics didn’t work. To be fair to the boss, he didn’t change a winning team and most managers would have done similar in his shoes. For all the misery at the moment, their home form isn’t bad. It’s the sixth best in the league and they’ve picked up 6 wins and lost just twice (one of those in injury time to Leeds). They’ve hit 19 goals here and are still a force to be reckoned with in East Anglia. A win here could see them propelled back into the play-off picture and relieve the pressure on the under-fire Neil.

Steve Bruce could name a very similar team to Saturday. Jonathon Kodjia got the nod as the frontman, Ross McCormack is back to full fitness and could rival him for that spot. Rudy Gestede also has a decent goal to minute goal in the Championship and could feature at some point. Ashley Westwood and Aaron Tshibola will also be pushing for a start.
Alex Neil kept the same team for the second game running on Saturday, but it backfired. Yousuff Mulumbu could come in to beef up the midfield, possibly at the expense of Graham Dorrans. Martin Olsson will also be pushing for a start, he hasn’t featured since getting sent off against QPR.
