Man United vs Liverpool Predictions
The first leg finished in a 2-0 win to the Anfield club and if it wasn't for David De Gea it could have been a more convincing win. United were poor, aside from a chance in the first minute they barely threatened the Liverpool goal and Jurgen Klopp's men should've had this tie all but won by now. As it is, United are still in it and it's difficult to rule them out.
United came back to salvage a replay against West Ham in the FA Cup last weekend, but in truth their performance was so much better than it was a few days previously at Anfield. If they can apply the same levels of performance in this one, then they stand a chance. Liverpool have the bonus of not playing last weekend so will be fully rested for this, and really only need one goal to make this an almost impossible task for Louis Van Gaal's side. It's difficult to see them not getting it too, with United needing goals they'll leave themselves open and that could play into Liverpool's hands. For me United will score too though, and if they do concede they'll need at least a 3-1 win to go through so I can see a few goals here. My first Man United vs Liverpool prediction is for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals with William Hill who are offering 7/5.

Man United vs Liverpool team news: Jesse Lingard could return after missing the first leg through suspension, and Bastian Schweinsteiger could feature after making his return from injury in the West Ham draw. Wayne Rooney is still out along with Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Will Keane, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Luke Shaw. For Liverpool, they have the majority of their players fit again, though aside from the long term injuries to Danny Ings and Joe Gomez, Lucas Leiva is out with a thigh strain.
With United having to go for this, I can see Liverpool catching them on the break, with the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Robert Firmino in good form and with Daniel Sturridge fit again I think that trio will cause the home side problems. They were excellent in the first leg and I'm expecting more of the same. These two sides have been the most difficult to predict all season, but I think the Liverpool win is the most likely outcome. My second Man United vs Liverpool prediction is for Liverpool to win and the best odds for this are 19/10 at bet365.

For my final betting tip on Man United vs Liverpool in the Europa League this week, I'm going for an anytime goalscorer tip. Daniel Sturridge scored a penalty in the first leg and for me he's the man most likely to score here. After his latest comeback from injury he's looking more like the striker we know he can be and I think at 19/10 with Ladbrokes he's a decent shout to get on the scoresheet.
