Villa were drawing too many games and dropping too many points, but Bruce has made them tougher and their mentality is improving. They haven’t lost since the beginning of October and have risen to 11th in the table. They have plenty of firepower and have found their shooting boots recently winning three of the last five. Worryingly for Villa fans, they’ve kept just one clean sheet since Bruce was appointed.

Three Leeds players are expected to be fit for this clash. Pontus Jansson is back and he should slot straight back into the side. He will partner one of Kyle Bartley or Liam Cooper who have been struggling with injuries. Both are expected to be passed fit. Eunan O’Kane should also be fine for this game.
