Football Accumulator Tips for Tonight
Stoke v Southampton Betting Tip – Stoke win
We’re off to the Potteries for our first selection. Stoke’s mini-run may be over, but they did perform well against Arsenal. The Gunners were too clinical in the end, but Mark Hughes’ side created chances and looked lively. They’ve won three of the last four at the Bet365 Stadium and have lost just once. Joe Allen is back in the side and with the likes of Marco Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri, they are always going to create chances from nothing. Southampton needed a wonder strike from Sofiane Boufal to secure all three points on Sunday against Middlesbrough. It was their second 1-0 win in a row at St Marys, but the Teessiders should have tested them more. Away from home, they’ve won just once in 7 games and have lost at Hull and Crystal Palace in their last two games, conceding 5 goals in the process. They’ve lost Charlie Austin to a shoulder injury and may struggle for firepower with him out of the side.
Sunderland v Chelsea Betting Tip – Chelsea win
Chelsea went back top with a hard fought 1-0 victory over West Brom. Perhaps they were a touch fortunate to come away with all three points, but they are looking difficult to stop and it’s those kind of games which make the difference at the end of the campaign. They have now won 9 games in a row in the Premier League and I think they can make it double figures at the Stadium of Light. Diego Costa and Pedro came through the match unscathed and will be fine to feature here. Conte could freshen things up with Willian patiently awaiting his chance on the sidelines. Sunderland were beaten by Swansea at the Liberty, but the scoreline flattered the home side and David Moyes will be looking to keep spirits up. They’ve been better recently, but expect the Blues to e too strong and sneak this once again.
West Brom v Swansea Betting Tip – West Brom win
The Baggies put in a decent performance against Chelsea on Sunday lunchtime and deserved a point. They are strong at the Hawthornes and have won three of the last five here. Only Man City have taken maximum points away from the West Midlands in the last five matches. Tony Pulis’ side will be determined to bounce back and they appear to have a much improved attack-defence balance this season. They have hit 7 in their last two home games against Burnley and Watford. Swansea haven’t won away since the opening of the season and were beaten out of sight by Spurs in their last away outing. Bob Bradley’s side are improving, but benefit from playing in South Wales and are struggling to recreate it on the road.
Wigan v Newcastle Betting Tip – Newcastle win
Wigan have the habit of frustrating sides and almost kept Aston Villa at bay on Saturday. The Latics set up with 5 in defence and the lively Yanic Wildschut as a lively frontman and it’s produced the goods away from home. At home, they are struggling though with just 2 wins from 9 and 3 consecutive home defeats. The DW hasn’t had much to cheer about and the fans haven’t seen a home goal since the 27th of September. Newcastle retained top spot this weekend as they hit Birmingham for four. They may have lost at Forest, but if they can keep all 11 men on the field, they should get the job done. They’ve already won at Elland Road, Oakwell and Deepdale this season which are all tricky venues.
QPR v Derby Betting Tip – Derby win
Steve McClaren’s Derby continue to march up the table at an unstoppable pace. Six consecutive wins has seen them move into the play-offs and they look like realistic challengers foe the top six places once again. They have been showing terrific firepower, but their defensive resolve has been key. They’ve won their last two away games, beating Wigan and Wolves. They are scoring goals from all over the field with Tom Ince and Will Hughes both getting on the scoresheet on Sunday in the East Midlands derby. QPR have been poor and the appointment of Ian Holloway has failed to ignite an upturn in fortunes. They won their first game under the Bristolian, but a 2nd minute penalty and sending off helped matters. They lost disappointingly at Rotherham at the weekend and need to bounce back, but this is a tricky fixture and they are unlikely to emerge with any points.
