AS Roma v Fiorentina – AS Roma win

Roma are on an incredible run under new coach Luciano Spalletti. They have won their last six consecutive matches and put up a decent showing in the Champions League. They’ve scored 16 goals in their last six games and conceded just four goals. They’ve only lost once here all season and hit five in their last match at Stadio Olimpico. Fiorentina might be the toughest opponent they have faced in that run, but the Florence outfit are hit and miss away. Although they are unbeaten in three on the road, they only just squeezed past lowly Atalanta and couldn’t find a way past Genoa or Bologna. They also suffered a 3-0 defeat and subsequently elimination from the Europa League away at Spurs recently. Roma are averaging 2.38 goals a game over the season, but that rises to three per game if you take a sample of the last five matches. Their fine run should go on here.

The best odds for Roma to beat Fiorentina are 11/10 with bet365.

ADO Den Haag v FC Twente – FC Twente win

Off to the Eredivisie for this Friday night fixture and I think the away side could snatch it. ADO Den Haag have only won twice at home all season, which is a poor record, but they’ve drawn seven times so they aren’t easily defeated. Twente are on an upward curve and have won each of their last five matches. They’ve also only conceded twice in those five fixtures. Led by the excellent Hakim Ziyech they have been scoring plenty of goals and I can see their winning streak continue. ADO have only lost to Ajax, Heracles and PEC Zwolle here, all of whom are much higher in the table than today’s opponents, but worrying they haven’t scored in their last two league matches and with Twente keeping three consecutive clean sheets, you have to side with the visitors.

The best odds for FC Twente to beat Den Haag are 2/1 with bet365.

Forest Green v Grimsby – Forest Green win

This isn’t an easy place to go and I think Grimsby may come unstuck when they visit Gloucestershire on Friday night. Their away form has been inconsistent recently – losing two and winning two. Their victories have been over mid-table Bromley and out-of-form Welling United and I think this is a step up. The home side are unbeaten in 11 and have scored a goal in each of their last 18 and are looking the real deal. They are now just a point off leaders Cheltenham with Grimsby another 16 points behind them. Forest Green have won 15 times here this season and although Grimsby might be tough to break down, away from home, the Mariners appear a little vulnerable.

The best odds for Forest Green to beat Grimsby are 17/10 with Sky Bet.

Nimes v Bourg-Peronnas – Nimes win

As usual, there’s plenty of action from the French second tier and I fancy the home side to come out on top for the next leg on the accumulator tip. Nimes narrowly lost away at Red Star on Saturday, but they did go down to 10 men and with a full complement of players, they should have too much for a dreadfully out of form Bourg Peronnas. It’s no win in eight and no victory in nine attempts away from home for Bourg Peronnas and there aren’t any signs of that poor run ending. They’ve taken just four points from their last eight matches and the points they’ve gained have all been against sides in the bottom half. Nimes sit in 16th, but they are better than that and are still suffering from their points deduction. They’re strong here as well, winning their last four matches and scoring 11.

The best odds for Nimes to win on Friday night are Evens with William Hill.

Auxerre v Niort – Auxerre win

The final selection in tonight’s accumulator is another home win in Ligue 2. Auxerre are undefeated in seven at home and I think they can make it eight tonight. Niort are not much good and have won just twice away from home, one of which was against struggling Sochaux. Auxerre held in-form Ajaccio to a goalless draw and high flying Nancy to an exciting 2-2 draw and I think they will be too strong or a side who have not won in seven. The away side have picked up just six points from their last eight games and have only scored twice in the last seven.

The best odds for Auxerre to win this Friday night are 23/20 with bet365.
