Football Accumulator Tips for 19/02/16

 

Bordeaux v Nice – Bordeaux win

Nice are six places above tonight’s opponents in the Ligue 1 table, but they recently struggled on the road and that early season flamboyancy has petered out. They’ve taken 17 points from 13 away matches this season, but they now find themselves without a win in six games on their travels and they recently had disappointing losses to Caen and Monaco and could only draw at Lille. Claude Puel needs to sort the recent bout of home sickness out if his side are to challenge for 2nd place. At the Allianz Riviera, they are solid and are rarely defeated, but they could struggle here. Bordeaux are a decent home side and have the 4th best home record in the league. A shock 1-4 defeat by St Etienne here last time has hopefully been put well and truly behind them. Seven of their nine wins this season have come here and they’ll be looking to make it win number eight when Nice come to town.

 

Unaio Madeira v Estoril – Unaio Madeira win

Unaio Madeira may have scored the fewest goals in the league and they may have dreadful away form, but here at home, they are reasonably solid. They’ve only lost three times here all season, one of those was to Sporting Braga and another was against FC Porto, two top teams, who were expected to take all three points. The only real blot was their defeat to Moreirense, but it was a narrow 1-0 defeat to a side who have won four of their last six away matches. Unaio Madeira held Benfica to a goalless draw, beat the leaders Sporting and then won against Boavista and Nacional. Estoril have only won twice away from home all season, once against the aforementioned Moreirense and the other an early season three-point haul against Tondela. Unaio Madeira may not score many, but if they get a goal, you’d fancy them to keep their opponents out.

 

ADO Den Haag v PEC Zwolle – Draw

Delving back into the history of these teams facing one another, in seven meetings, the away side has never left victorious. ADO Den Haag have picked up of late with two wins and a draw from their last three games and are looking quite tough to beat. Ajax came here and could only score once. PEC Zwolle beat Feyenoord (who isn’t these days?!) at home at the weekend, but their recent away form needs work. But they’ve had some difficult fixtures. Not many teams will pick up points from PSV, FC Utrecht and Heracles. I think they are good enough to collect a point here. Two of the last three meetings between these teams in The Hague have ended 1-1. ADO have drawn with Roda JC and Willem II here recently, but perhaps they just struggle to finish sides off. This one could be another Friday night draw in the Eredivisie for our accumulator tip.

 

Tours v Valenciennes – Valenciennes Draw NO Bet

To complete our football coupon prediction I’m opting for a big price in Ligue 2 on Friday as Valenciennes look to make it two away wins in a row. The visitors were devastating on the counter attack on Monday night when they won at Lens. They could and should have had more and can repeat the feat here against an inconsistent Tours side. It’s just one defeat in eight for Valenciennes now and that was a narrow 1-0 loss to leaders Dijon. These two are locked together in the form table, but I just fancy the away side to carry their momentum forward. Tours aren’t a bad side at all, they sit 10th but have scored just 11 home goals all season and are without a win here in three and have taken maximum point just once in the last six games. Their most recent wins are against Paris FC and Bourg-Perronas, two out of form teams and I think they might struggle to contain Valenciennes.
