Nice v Lyon Betting Tip
Nice sit top of Ligue 1 and are the only unbeaten side in the division. They will be booted here by the inclusion of Mario Balotelli, who has had his red card rescinded. They are strong at home where they have already netted 10 times. They overcame Lorient here despite going down to 10 men and they should have too much for Lyon, who have lost their last two away games. The visitors are also without Alexandre Lacazette who continues his recovery from injury. They still have plenty of firepower and danger, but they won’t be as potent. They also have worries of Cornet and Jallet who are doubtful for this. Nice have won 9 of their last 10 games at the Allianz Riviera and they have few injury doubts so Lucien Favre’s side should pick itself. They are very strong at home and this should be a really enjoyable game to watch.

Las Palmas v Espanyol Betting Tip
One thing you can always bank on is that Las Palmas will always be strong at home. Their all singing, all dancing start to the season may have curtailed slightly but teams do not relish playing here. It’s a lovely place for a holiday, but not for a game of football. Las Palmas were last seen holding Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw here and they’re unbeaten in three matches at home. You have to go back to the 13th of March to find the last time they were beaten here, which was strangely by Real Madrid. Kevin Prince-Boateng has added some extra star quality to their side and they should be able to see off struggling Espanyol. The away side have won 1, drawn 1 and lost 1 away from home, but their victory on the road was against struggling Osasuna. They are gradually improving under Qique Sanchez-Flores, but I think they will come away empty handed on Friday night.

Cesena v Spal Betting Tip
Off to Serie B for this encounter between Cesena and Spal. The home side were unbeatable here last season but this season they’ve been unable to turn draws into wins. Just a solitary victory in front of their fans in four attempts is disappointment. Last time out here they drew 2-2 with Latina, although admittedly those sides have accrued 8 draws in the last 10 games between them. Spal have started to pick up and are above tonight’s opponents in the table. Away from home, they won their last match but have also drawn 1 and lost 2. It’s a mixed bag. This league throws up a lot of draws and this might be another one for Cesena who are solid if unspectacular here.

Auxerre v Laval Betting Tip
Auxerre have had a terrible couple of months. Without a goal since the opening day of the season (12th August) in the league, they’ve dropped like a stone. They have recruited a new manager though and although he has little time to get to know the players and develop his own system, he could get them a point here. Laval are not the hardest of opponents although they are tough to break down, but a lack of goals has held them back. Cedric Daury has a real task on his hands to motivate the home side and find a way to score. He’s not known for an entertaining style of football so he’ll probably be glad to get his first point on the board here. Laval have drawn each of their last three games and in their last five, they’ve conceded 3 and scored 2 so don’t expect a high scoring affair here.
