Manchester City are rampant at home! They have put a number of sides to the sword and hit four against Bournemouth and six when Newcastle came to town. They face slightly tougher calibre of team here, although Sevilla struggled at the start of the La Liga season. They have improved though, with their best results coming at home. Man City have scored 17 goals at the Etihad this season and Sevilla aren’t known for their goalscoring exploits on the road. Wolfsburg v PSV – Wolfsburg win.

It’s the first of back-to-back games between these sides and Wolfsburg would love the chance to go to the Netherlands top of the group. Winning here could propel them to the summit and they are in with a good chance, considering the away form of PSV in this competition. Phillip Cocu will need a re-shuffle in defence with Santiago Arias banned after being sent off against CSKA last time out. They’ve lost just one away game this season, a defeat at in-form Heracles, but they don’t travel well in the Champions League. Wolfsburg are unbeaten at home this season under Dieter Hecking and they have won 80% of those games. CSKA Moscow v Man United – Over 2.5 goals.

Manchester United seem to have found the key to their midfield with their recent victory at Everton. Benfica have had a torrid time on the road in the Liga Sagres, although they’ve been in blistering form at home. They also won surprising at Vincente Calderon last time out and will look to carry that confidence to Turkey. Gala are yet to win in the competition, they were last seen drawing 2-2 with minnows Astana. They welcome back Burak Yilmaz to the side which is a huge boost and should provide them with some goals in this contest. With him on the pitch and Jonas for Benfica, we are likely to see some goals in this one as both sides have shown hesitant displays of defending both in their domestic leagues and in this competition.
