The home side came back from 3 down in the 1st leg of their Europa League tie against Odd and have won both of their opening league games 4-0. The goals have been nicely spread around and they will hope to continue where they left off against Hertha Berlin. The visitors have been solid this campaign, although it’s early days yet. Dortmund beat them 2-0 here in May and we’ll hope they go one better here.

 

Bordeaux v Nantes – Under 2.5 goals

There’s not been many goals around these clubs as the season has started slowly. Bordeaux were in action on Thursday night and there’s every chance they will be sluggish after their Europa League exertions. Nantes have won 1-0 twice and their other game finished 0-0. They remain unbeaten in Ligue 1 and are built on a solid backline. Bordeaux have scored 2 goals in 3 games and drew their last game 0-0 at Lille. All points to a low scoring affair.

 

Vitesse v Cambuur – Vitesse to score over 1.5 goals

A short one to add the accumulator, but Cambuur were on the wrong end of a 6-1 defeat by Heracles last Saturday evening. They had started the season reasonably with a 2-2 draw against PEC Zwolle, but have since gone downhill. Vitesse put 3 past Roda JC in their last home game and should have too much firepower for a Cambuur side who are still shellshocked from being hit for 6.

 

Eibar v Athletico Bilbao – Handicap Market – Eibar +1

Eibar are top of La Liga. Albeit after just 1 game, but they won’t care. After being spared relegation last season, they triumphed 3-1 on the opening weekend of the season and now they face Bilbao who started their campaign unconvincingly losing 1-0 to Barcelona. It’s not a bad result, but they have faced midweek exertions against Zilina in the Europa League and may be a little tired. With Eibar having the +1, if they draw, which seems the likeliest result, it will pay off.
