Euro 2016 Predictions for Group B – England to win all three matches?

Euro 2016 Group B will be the focus of England and Wales fans this summer and we have picked out two predictions for the group including a team to finish bottom tip.

 

Group B looks a reasonable group for England as they head over to France for the European Championships and we have found a couple of betting tips to back for the group stage.

To get to France, England cruised through the qualifying stages as the only team with a 100% record which was an impressive achievement for Roy’s men. Although some said that the group was weak, you can only beat what is put out in front of you and England did just that.

 

Although on paper the biggest scare looks to be Russia, if they can get past that opening game with a win you would, or should expect, England to take a 100% win record into the knock out stages. The biggest game for all the English and Welsh will be the local clash in Group B. If Wales were to only win one game in the group, I’m pretty certain they would want to beat the rivals. However, I think the main objective for Coleman’s men will be progressing to the knock out stages and seeing how far they can get in the competition.

It’s quite a difficult task to take good value bets from the group stages of Euro 2016. When talking about group B, most will expect England to qualify alongside Russia or Wales. Slovakia don’t seem to get a look in and it wouldn’t surprise many if they finished the group with zero points. They did well to qualify from the group which Spain also progressed from but it’s hard to see them turning up on the big stage. I would expect England and Russia both to take three points from Slovakia and if Wales can beat them or even get a draw, they will finish rock bottom in the group.

 

My second Euro 2016 prediction for Group B is going to be Slovakia to finish bottom of group B. I think this is definitely worth a punt as I think it is all down to how Wales perform against them.
