Brighton v Leeds predictions and betting tips for tonight’s Championship fixture with the best tips and odds for our three bets.
There’s Monday night action from the Championship and it comes from the South Coast as Brighton welcome Leeds to town. We’ve got the best football bets for the match.
Brighton vs Leeds Predictions
Brighton have got their season back on track after a blip around Christmas. The Seagulls were soaring and unbeaten until coming undone against Middlesbrough. Chris Hughton’s men faced a winless and goalless period, but they’ve overcome that with five wins in their last seven and a goalless draw with the leaders.
Some astute loan signings have given the squad a boost, especially after they were engulfed by an injury crisis which ravaged their small squad. There is a togetherness about the club and the players though and the 4-1 defeat to Cardiff aside, they’ve shown spirit in the last few outings.
Hughton perhaps got the tactics wrong in South Wales when he left ageing striker Bobby Zamora far too isolated. He went with two strikers in midweek and they hit Bristol City for four. It was a scintillating performance from the away side and you would imagine that the boss is unlikely to tweak his team too much for this.
It’s now over a month since Leeds last tasted victory in the Championship. An FA Cup victory against Bolton aside, they’ve been struggling to pick up maximum points and could only draw with Fulham in midweek despite a Lewis Cook wonder goal.
They won’t relish visiting here though as they’ve failed to beat Brighton in any of the last four attempts and are not in the best form arriving in Sussex.
With Chris Wood absent, they are struggling for goals as they’ve scored just six times in their last eight games and two of those came in the aforementioned FA Cup tie with struggling Bolton. They were hard to beat earlier in the season and they can still be christened the divisions draw specialists, finishing level 14 times this season.
They have some very promising young players, but perhaps they lack a real leader to inspire them. Steve Evans is looking to put the recent poor run behind them, but it looks as though they can wave goodbye to any play-off ambitions this season being a good 16 points off 6th place Sheffield Wednesday.
Brighton sit in 4th place, five points behind leaders Hull and could still get automatic promotion, although finishing in the top two at the expense of either Hull, Middlesbrough and Burnley looks a difficult task.
They have the 5th best home form in the league, winning 11 of their 16 games here and I think they can find win number 12 for tonight’s football tips.
My first Championship prediction for Brighton v Leeds is a Brighton win. The best odds for Brighton to beat Leeds tonight are 4/5 with Betfred.

Despite lacking goals, Leeds have scored in three of their last four away games and are usually good for a goal. They often just strike the once though. I think they can find a way past a Brighton defence that shipped four to Cardiff just last weekend.
My second Brighton v Leeds prediction is for Both Teams to Score? Yes. What are the best odds for BTTS in Brighton v Leeds tonight? It’s 23/20 with Coral.

Starting with two strikers in the shape of Tomer Hemed and Sam Baldock worked wonders on Tuesday night. They both found the net during the 4-0 demolition of Bristol City. The latter is a slightly better price and he should be worth backing.
My third Brighton vs Leeds prediction is for Sam Baldock to score anytime. He can be backed at 14/5 with Bet Victor.
