Arsenal are in decent form at the moment and have put in some good performances, particularly since their win at Olympiakos secured their qualification into the knock out rounds of the Champions League. That seems to have eased the pressure off Arsene Wenger and his men and they’re in place to mount a serious challenge for the title ad the season progresses.

 

Whether they can keep up their form is yet to be seen, Arsenal seem to be perennial chokers, but with Chelsea surely out of it and Manchester United not being able to hit barn doors with banjos it seems to be between the Gunners and Manchester City who’ll be fighting for it come the end of the season (although if Leicester can produce the same in the second half of the season as they did the first then they’ll be up there too. Imagine….)

 

As for Bournemouth, they went from mustering one point from a possible 18 to 11 from a possible 15 with wins over Chelsea, Manchester United and West Brom following draws with Swansea and Everton. They’ve really given themselves a chance now. They’re a well organised side with attacking prowess and they’ve been unlucky in games, particularly at the start of the season. Whether it’s enough to stay in the Premier League we’ll see but it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re on the Premier League fixture list for next season.

 

Having said that, I think Bournemouth’s run of beating the better sides in this league will come to an end here for my football tips. Arsenal will have too much for them, I don’t think the Bournemouth defence will be able to deal with the intricate play from the Arsenal front line.
