Leicester City vs Burnley Preview, Betting Tips and Prediction

Danny Ings and Sam Vokes have been scoring for fun for Burnley with the midfield chipping in with a number of crucial goals whilst Leicester are hardly short of firepower with David Nugent, Jamie Vardy  and Chris Wood waiting in the wings.

Rather than siding with a striker to find the net, I would suggest backing Anthony Knockaert to score anytime at 10/3 with William Hill. There are a number of in-form strikers and their prices are short as a result. The mercurial Frenchman has a knack of creating a moment of magic and weaving through a defence. He opened the scoring against Sheffield Wednesday and he may prove a handful for the Burnley defence.

Finally, I will try a correct score bet, I believe Leicester will win, but it may be by the narrowest of margins. 2-1 Leicester looks sensible and it is 9/1 with Ladbrokes. Leicester’s impressive home form this season doesn’t make me want to bet against them, but Burnley have a mean defence only conceding 13 goals all season.
