Both Teams to Score Tips 30th September

Bristol City vs Nottingham Forest Tips

An interesting fixture In the Championship between two sides who have been playing terrific attacking football over the past couple of weeks. Forest have been involved in some high scoring affairs this season and both teams netted in their 1-1 draw with Fulham in midweek. The Tricky Trees are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have conceded at least two goals in four of their last five league games. They’ve only failed to score twice in the league this season (v Brentford & Brighton) who are two tough away sides to visit. Bristol City have been impressing under Lee Johnson this season and they picked up another victory in midweek against Leeds. The Robins have been scoring plenty of goals at Ashton Gate this season netting twice against Wigan and three times against Villa. With Tammy Abraham, they have goals in the side and they shouldn’t find too many problems breaking through the Forest backline.

AFC Wimbledon vs Gillingham Tips

Gillingham rarely let us down in the BTTS market and they produced the goods again in midweek with a lively 3-3 draw against Chesterfield. There were three penalties in that game and some ropey defending. They have been scoring goals and have Jay Emmanuel Thomas back in the side. Both sides have netted in nine of their ten league games this season with a thrashing at the hands of leaders Scunthorpe the only exception. They haven’t kept a clean sheet yet this season and it will tough in West London. AFC Wimbledon played on Wednesday and drew 2-2 with Coventry which brings it to six BTTS match in a row in the league. They’ve hit nine goals in five games and have Lyle Taylor and Dominic Poleon as a potent front pair. Gillingham have hit five in two games and look good to get on the scoresheet here. AFC Wimbledon have only kept one clean sheet this season and I can’t see them keeping the Gills out.

Bury vs Scunthorpe Tips

Battle at the top of League One on Saturday as Bury host Scunthorpe at Gigg Lane. Bury have been terrific of late and not many would have fancied them to sit 2nd in the table. They’ve been scoring goals, but importantly for us, not keeping clean sheets. It’s five victories in a row for Bury and it’s 6 matches since they last kept a side out. Josh Morris is having the season of his life for Scunthorpe with 10 goals so far. He hit a hat trick against Walsall in midweek and with Scunny on their travels once more, he could find himself on the scoresheet once more to help our football betting tips. The visitors were defending diligently, but drew 2-2 with Sheffield United and then conceded to Walsall in midweek. Bury have plenty of firepower and they will have to find a way of dealing with Tom Pope. This should be a really entertaining affair and one with a few goals.

Carlisle vs Colchester Tips

Carlisle remain one of the two teams in the EFL unbeaten and they can preserve that record against an out of sorts Colchester. The U’s always seem to score though and should give Carlisle a decent game at Brunton Park. The Cumbrians drew 2-2 with an impressive Doncaster in midweek and that was their second 2-2 draw in a row. They are scoring goals with Jabo Ibehre, Charlie Wyke and recently Shaun Miller all finding the target recently. Keith Curle’s side are almost certain to score here, but they are liable to concede as well. BTTS has landed in the last five matches involving Colchester and they’ve netted in six consecutive games. They haven’t won in three games, but they’ve scored in each. Their defence is a problem, but they haven’t had many problems at the other end.
