Weekend Football Accumulator Tips for Saturday’s Friendly Matches – 30/07/16

Newcastle to beat Vitesse Arnhem

Rafa Benitez at Newcastle is set to experience life in the Championship for the first time and his team faces Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem at St James' Park on Saturday. The Magpies are unbeaten during pre-season and have registered clean sheets in three of their four matches whereas the Eredivisie team have lost three of their five games, although they have faced tougher opposition, including West Brom and Porto. Newcastle should complete their pre-season with a fourth victory.

 

Nottingham Forest to beat Hull

Nottingham Forest have won four successive pre-season fixtures and face a troubled Hull City team beset by several injuries and affected by the sudden departure of popular manager Steve Bruce. Forest may be the fitter team in their final prep game before the Championship campaign and could beat their Premier League visitors.

 

Norwich vs Hannover draw

Another fixture of interest is at Carrow Road where Norwich host German team Hannover. Both clubs were relegated from their respective top tiers last season and are playing their final preparation matches at the weekend. Although the Canaries have won three of their four friendly games during July, Hannover are unbeaten in six matches and have netted 34 goals in those games. A score draw would appear to be a likely outcome.

 

Swansea to beat Wolves

The recent takeover by Chinese investors at Wolves has offered hope of extra funding for the Midlands club ahead of their forthcoming Championship campaign but they have failed to beat lower league opposition in their latest two friendlies. Wolves will face a Swansea team which has netted eight goals in their two most recent games and an away victory for the Swans is the next leg our football accumulator tip.

 

Sunderland to beat Montpellier

Fellow Premier League team Sunderland have been enjoying a French training camp under the watchful eye of new manager David Moyes. The Black Cats have already claimed two recent friendly victories on French soil and face Montpellier on Saturday. The hosts were beaten 3-0 by fellow Ligue 1 team Toulouse in midweek and may suffer another defeat by Sunderland.
