Switzerland vs Poland predictions and betting tips for their Euro 2016 Round of 16 clash taking place on Saturday 25th June, kick-off time 2:00pm.
Switzerland take on Poland at the Round of 16 stage of the European Championships at the Stade Geoffroy Gulchard in Saint Etienne and I have picked out the best three football tips for this one.

The knock-out stage is here! The first game of the Round of 16 stage sees Switzerland against Poland. Both these sides progressed comfortably through their Groups and both will fancy their chances of reaching the quarter-finals.
Switzerland finished second in Group A behind France after beating Albania and picking up a point against both Romania and the hosts. They didn’t look convincing, against Albania they were against 10 men for the majority of the game but didn’t look like adding to their early goal, and they showed a lack of attacking prowess against the Romanians and the French. They’re not scoring many, only finding the net twice in their three games, but they’re not conceding many either with Romania the only side to score against them.

Breel Embolo could keep his place in the starting line-up at the expense of Haris Seferovic after looking more lively in the 0-0 with France, with Vladimir Petkovic not facing any injury or suspension he may decide on keeping the same eleven that started that game.
Poland also finished second in their group, finishing behind Germany in Group C to qualify for the knock out stages for the first time in their history. Like Switzerland, they’ve had trouble getting on the scoresheet but two 1-0 victories and a point against the Germans easily saw them through. They’ve also not conceded a goal in the tournament yet, but the lack of goals from Robert Lewandowski and Arkadiusz Milik are a cause for concern.
Poland boss Adam Newalka is likely to be without first choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny again so Lukasz Fabianski will continue between the sticks. Newalka will also be without the suspended Bartosz Kapustka who picked up his second yellow card of the tournament in their 1-0 victory over Ukraine.
A close game in store I think, but one that Poland should win for my Euro 2016 betting tips. Switzerland do possess players capable of producing moments of magic, Xherdan Shaqiri and Admir Mehmedi to name but two, but I think Poland’s extra quality up front plus their excellent defence will be enough to see Poland in the quarter finals. The form of the misfiring Lewandowski has been called into question throughout this tournament. After a goal-laden season at Bayern Munich, the striker is yet to score so far at Euro 2016 and has missed a couple of sitters. I’m tipping Poland for the win but I think this will be a close game.
