Borussia Monchengladbach v Hoffenheim
We’re kicking this weekend football tip off in the Bundesliga this Sunday as Monchengladbach take on Hoffenheim at Borussia Park. The hosts are in a real chalk and cheese run of form at the moment after winning their last five home matches in a row and scoring 18 goals in the process, then losing their last four on their travels and having the third worst away record in the division. Although they are a few points off the pace in the rat race for the Champions League spots, a solid finish to the campaign would all but guarantee a place in the Europa League. Opponents Hoffenheim are desperately looking over their shoulder down in 13th, but a decent spell of form over the last few weeks has certainly given then some hope they can stave off any relegation worries. Despite the visitors reasonable run, though, I think Monchengladbach’s home record speaks for itself and they should have more than enough firepower to win this one. Nevertheless, both sides are placed in the top six in the league for BTTS results, so there’s more than enough to suggest they can win the match via that outcome as well.

Celtic v Ross County
Our second choice comes from the Scottish Premier League as Celtic host Ross County at Celtic Park. The Bhoys might have bombed out of the FA cup to their bitter rivals Rangers last time out, but seem certain to lift the league title after pulling away from Aberdeen in recent weeks following an excellent run of form. Celtic have now gone nine matches without defeat and have already beaten Sunday’s opponents three times in the league this season. This is as much of a home banker as they come. However, Ross County are no stranger to where the goal is and do currently have the fourth highest goal tally in the Premiership this season. In addition to this, Celtic have already chalked up thirteen BTTS wins already this year, so let’s hope they have at least one more in them before the end of the campaign.

St Etienne v L’orient
We’re rounding things off in France this Sunday as in-form St Etienne take on L’orient in Ligue 1. The hosts appear to have put an inconsistent season behind them and have thrown themselves right into the hunt for a Champions League place following an excellent four game winning streak. St Etienne have a decent home record in Ligue 1 and also beat their opponents in the corresponding game earlier in the year. The main worry for me ahead of this clash has been their poor BTTS record over the last few games, though, where they have blanked in that particular market the last six games in a row. However, their previous four matches before that all finished with both teams finding the net and they also face a L’orient side that has the best record in the whole division for BTTS results at a highly impressive 71%. It’s definitely the riskiest of the three on paper, but I fancy St Etienne to win this one by virtue of a BTTS outcome.
