Eibar v Las Palmas – Eibar win

Eibar sit 7th in La Liga and that’s mostly due to their home form. They have been very effective in front of their own fans and have won three of their last four matches here. They’ve won seven of their thirteen home games and have hit 10 goals in their last four home matches. They face Las Palmas, who are the worst travellers in the league. They aren’t bad when teams come to Gran Canaria, but when they leave, they come undone. They’re yet to win away from home and have lost nine of the twelve games on their travels. They’ve conceded nine goals in their last four away matches and I think they’ll continue their poor away form this evening.

 

Nice v Bastia – Nice win

Friday night in the Riviera as Nice host Reims. Nice are a much better home side and I think they can see off home-birds Bastia for the next leg of this accumulator tip. The away side won their first match on their travels last week seeing off Reims. But they’ve recently lost to Monaco, PSG & Guingamp. They’re in decent form, but it’s largely been at home where they have seen off Troyes, Reims & Montpellier. Nice have won three of the last four at the Allianz Riviera and drew with away specialists Marseille last week. Although they’ve stumbled away from home recently, they have plenty of firepower and Hatem Ben Arfa is always capable of a wonder goal or two.

 

Hull v Sheffield Wednesday – Hull win

Another home win here for our third selection as the leaders Hull host play-off chasing Sheffield Wednesday. Hull have conceded just twice in their last eight games and even held Premier League Arsenal to a 0-0 draw. They got a very professional 1-0 win over Ipswich in midweek and I think they can grab another three points here. Sheffield Wednesday are poor on the road winning just four times all season. Carlos Carvalhal can welcome back Fernando Forestieri, but they are winless in two now and I think they’ll find the Tigers hard to break down.

Metz v Brest – Metz win

This is a slightly riskier selection as Metz are winless in three, but they have been playing decent sides and Brest just aren’t that good away from home. A 2-2 draw with leaders Nancy was followed by a defeat to in-form Le Havre for Metz. They were then edged out away from home at Nimes on Monday, but they should be too good for their opponents tonight. They have the 6th best home form in the league and have won three of their last four here. They saw off Laval, Creteil and Sochaux who are all very similar sides to Brest on the road. The away side have lost three of their last four on the road, but did beat out of form Niort. I think Metz can get their first win in four here.

 

Niort v Le Havre – Le Havre win

Our final selection on tonight’s football accumulator also comes from Ligue 2 as Niort are the hosts for the visit of Le Havre. Niort are now winless in six, losing four and drawing two. Le Havre have won their last two matches, both by the scoreline 1-0. They beat Metz away in their last games and then beat Creteil by the same scoreline. I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a similar result here. Le Havre are a solid outfit who have conceded eight goals in eight games. They’ve picked up 13 points from their last six games, more than double Niort’s total. It’s no win in seven home games for Niort and I think they can be extended to eight here.
